Had to come back and post something positive to balance the negative I first wrote.
Although Nicholas still annoys me . . . . about 90% of the time . . . . I actually liked the dress he made for Christina. And I totally agree with his comments about a certain someone being a tad bit bitchy. The comment was less effective when you add in the "pot vs kettle" factor, but it still fits.
Nick is fun, he's always laughing, and he's funny. that counts.. unlike a certain sour-faced someone I know...

At first I didn't care for Nicklaus. He reminded me of a that designer who referred to himself in the 3rd person...he was so bogus I can't even remember his name or what season he was on (I think it was Kenley's though).
However, I think I see why he has done costumes more than traditional designs. Both his his costumes were gorgeous and really well made. That is where he should stay - although he should expand his color pallette.
My tune further changed when he said what a bitch Irina is. He is spot on. And for himself, he really hasn't caused any drama or negative energy or meanness. He seems to like he is just having fun with the whole process.
I don't think he has what it takes to win, but he is good with costumes, and I am now liking him.
