The Project Runway Tour (Google Maps project)

For reasons unknown to myself, I started a project this week: mapping all the locations seen on Project Runway. This includes the main sites seen every week (like Parsons and Mood), as well as locales seen in individual episodes (Parsons Paris, the clubs/bars used for parties, etc.).

Each marked site contains a brief description of the location's relation to the show, including episode number/name where appropriate.

Status:

• Most of the locations for S1-S9 are mapped.

Locations that I haven't yet pinpointed are listed below. Feel free to post with any additions, corrections, or missing information! Or the name of a good therapist to listen to me try to figure out why I did this...

Missing Locations:

• 1x03 (Banana Republic Challenge) - The bar the designers went to after finishing for the night
• 2x06 (Window Shopping) - The art supply store where they shopped for the Banana Republic window displays
• 2x08 (Inspiration) - The building Chloe photographed for her Inspiration dress
• 4x09 (Even Designers Get the Blues) - The warehouse in Brooklyn filled with Levi's denim
• 8x10 (There's a Pattern Here) - The bar/lounge where Christopher and his partner hang out

Just keep telling yourself this is interesting and fun; it's what I do... ;)

You do indeed rock MFWalkoff and if you do find a good therapist maybe you can get us a group rate. I don't see the flower shops used in S2 but I would have no way of mapping them even if I knew their names. I actually think about this stuff as a way to get to sleep at night. :ohno

I found two of the three shops, but I didn't find The Plant House, the first stop where they got their flowers. I think the name is too common to net a good search result. I'll just have to take the subway down there someday and check it out, since Tim mentioned it was across the street from Fischer & Page.

I just watched the flower episode, it sounded like they were right near one another with Giamolis (sp?) the furthest away.

Good Job MFW! I also watched the "its a MF walkoff!" episode as well!

I'm not sure if I missed this...do you have the House of Spandex marked on the map (from the women wrestling divas episode)?

Oops - I see that you said that you were only half done with season 4, so I guess that means the HOS location is in the works.
