This article on the New York Magazine website talks generally about all Bravo competition reality shows, but it's primary focus is Project Runway. I finally got a clear understanding of why Jay didn't take the money after winning. All I'd ever heard was that there were too many strings, and he was made out to be a bit of a diva over it. Not that Jay isn't a bit of a diva anyway, but now understand why he didn't take the money--I'd hate like hell to owe 10% of what I earned in perpetuity to Harvey & Bob Weinstein just for taking the $100K.
