Pirate Master Cancelled - Effective Immediately

Truely sad, just watched this weeks ep online and things got more twisted up and interesting. Would have been fun to watch based on the new twists, new captain, etc. I will keep monitoring it online each week to see how things end up.

I am not that suprised but I don't think I have ever seen them pull a "reality" show off tv especially halfway ........gezzzzzzzz..who won I wonder? Maybe some of the contestants will leak the info now...

The one I feel sorry for is Christa, she got very little air time in the past episodes (the ones aired) but more than made up for it in this weeks (on-line) and moving forward.

And what makes it suck even more is that the videos on CBS.com keep stopping in the middle of the video, over and over again. I have to pause it for a while for them to play all the way through.

I watched the last episode on line. There was no sound for the last few minutes.

Does anyone know how airing of a cancelled series works? Are they likely to all be available at once or only one week at a time? (I see that "tonight's" episode is available already.)

Bummer. This wasn't the mutiny I was hoping for. Despite the fact that if it could be bottled it would cure insomnia, it was still enjoyable. It was certainly different.

A big "Thank You" to Yardgnome, SueEllenMishke, suncat7, waywyrd, and lildago for your terrific recaps! They'll be missed more than the show, I can tell you that.

ETA: I got it working. I switched the media player to Windows Media Player.

They couldn't let it finishing airing?!? Only 5 episodes, yeesh. I hate when they do that and then think putting them online solves it - perhaps it does, but not for those of us outside the US.

This is one reason people may not bother getting into new shows - just when they get interesting the network pulls them, so why bother? Traveler was pretty good, gone. Drive had potential, gone. A bunch of other shows in September, gone.
