    Christian

Christian Okoye was born in Enugu, Nigeria, and came to the United States to attend college. He received his bachelor's degree from Azusa Pacific University in athletic training and physical education. He then joined the NFL and played professional football for the Kansas City Chiefs, where he led the NFL in rushing yards for the 1989-1990 football season. Since retiring, he's founded the Christian Okoye Foundation, a charity organization whose primary mission is to capture the passion children have for sports and direct that energy to enhance their educational and personal goals. His foundation draws at-risk and underprivileged youth by hosting free athletic clinics, where well-known professional athletes coach the kids. He also has a health and fitness business that primarily sells protein powders and multivitamins. He describes himself as very competitive, friendly and strong-minded. He enjoys jogging, lifting weights, golf, movies and travel. He has two children, Tiana (15) and Kosi (2).

Okoye currently resides in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

His birth date is Aug. 16, 1961.

I remember this guy too - "The Nigerian Nightmare". He was a tank, I wonder if he still has any of that left.

He used to just run over the defense rather than trying to go around them. As I remember, his career was shortened by injuries.

I LOVED watching Christian play when he was w/ the Chiefs. He was a highlight in an otherwise "so-so" team. The way he'd drag whole defenses into the end zone for another rushing touchtown was amazing!

    Re: Christian

I hope he does great. Man, he is handsome. I love football players. However, he's not the youngest person there and as previously stated, he's probably got some nagging old injuries from his NFL career. Did you notice his kids are aged 15 and 2. Maybe they've been keeping him young for 15 years now. I know a 2 year old is a lot of work.
