    Plus, does anyone else think she doesn't look like Aretha and looks like a female impersonator in that second picture?

    I've been to drag shows where the performers look FAR more feminine than Sharon. I won't take anything away from this chick, though. I sure as hell wouldn't be up there trying to sing Aretha. Hell, I wouldn't be up there trying to sing Debbie Gibson.

    Edited to add: I just saw that she's 19. Wow. I would've guessed much older.

    Amen to that. I'd like to see her win the WHOLE shebang. She's not a PROFESSIONAL like some of the people who have been immitating their performer for years. Good for her. She was awesome!

    Holy crap. If this girl doesn't win the whole thing, then this show isn't worth a dime. She was REALLY great, finally!!! Someone who (no offense to the others who've performed) really sounds like she should be singing professionally.

    She TOTALLY gave me goosebumps during her performance, and I don't even like the song, and I like Aretha even less.

    And...what's with the last name?

    I have to agree with everyone, this girl has an amazing voice and she has charisma. She really was a star up there, giving to the audience and enjoying every moment of it herself.

    And that picture does not do her justice, she looked beautiful, confident and feminine on TV screen.
