The race is back!
I'm not sure it's a real hotel. I believe they may have just constructed something special for the show. But I could be wrong, in which case, they haven't said what hotel or where it is.

Will it be an actual hotel?
I DO think it is an actual hotel! Can't prove it as yet, but I think it exists! I put a search in for "Paradise Hotel" and there are several by the very name around the world!
Another point? Why would a studio hire all the personnel and have to build a facility, when they could make deals with an actual hotel? Makes no sense financially to create one, does it?
Looking forward to the show!

I have my doubts it would *actually* be called the Paradise Hotel, if it were a real hotel. By the way, the most infamous "Paradise Hotel" was the victim of the recent Bali bombing...For those who think it sounds familiar but just can't place it.

I would agree with this, John. Perhaps the hotel is not called "Paradise Hotel", but this is still an unknown. There are more than two named as such in Mexico. Perhaps it was part of a *deal* that the name of the hotel be used, too! A possibility!
Interesting about the Bali hotel! No I never connected it! Thanks!

It is not a hotel it is a converted film set from the old James Bond movie that was filmed in Acapulco. The Mexican villa has been made over to look like a hotel but it is not real even if it is a reality show. If you phone the villa they will tell you...

CBS constructed the Big Brother house. I don't see any difference if they constructed this hotel.
I believe it was constructed because of the doors to the rooms. Althought it's a beautiful idea, I wouldn't think a real hotel would have glass doors.
