The new one doesn't start until sometime in the beginning of February.

Thanx. My guide indicated the first ep was a 1/2 hour. Must have been a misprint. Anyhoo, saw the original. I'll pass on a second go around. Looking forward to PH2, that is if Slice carries it. Here's hoping.

I missed the beginning of it the first time so I'm catching up. I missed the whole Charla and Andon thing and Dave coming in. Charla really is on a different level than these people and watching how awkward Dave is makes me uncomfortable. One thing I liked about this show is the characters got developed well, even from the first episode.

I e-mailed Slice and asked if they'll air PH2, so we'll see.

Nathan Clutter, a Paradise Hotel 2 contestant, died after the filming of the show. Sad.

Google his name for articles. Some mention the trouble the show had with filming: "The report also noted that the series faced problems during production, as “[a] hurricane and several tropical storms swept off the Gulf Coast during the first week of production and washed out all of the roads and the villa where the program is set.”

Wow I am so glad they finally decided to bring this great show back.

I think this was my favorite reality show.

And so soon?

Isn't it weird that because of Christian people they decided not to air season 2 at first?

Of course here in The Netherlands we have people and politics that sometimes try to tell us, hey this show must be cut, but here it is freedom of choice. No censor. There is a button on your TV. Do they have so much power?

If he died after filming, I'm assuming the show took on another type of format, since the first PH was being aired while they were still at the Hotel.

No, PH 1 was filmed during live time (like Big Brother), and went down as the reality tv show with the most amount of episodes (somewhere in the 30s I think???). PH2 is all pre-recorded and I heard there are only like 16 episodes. The format is different and I can tell this season won't be as good. The first season was interesting because things were going on very recently to our time, so "spoilers" and long-thought manipulated edits were not present.
