That may be but she endeared herself to me the other night when she said, something to the effect that "These people are riduculous! God help them if something bad should happen to them in real life"

I think the producers of all reality shows should make more of an effort to recruit real people even if it means paying them different rates per week to stay on the show. Cassandra from BB1 for instance, worked for the UN. Every reality show should have some eye-candy but the impression one forms from these shows is that no one in the US has a real job; that it is peopled soley by bartenders and personal trainers. Americans must be the fittest people on the planet!

As for the misunderstabnding, Toni said it herself. She picked the wrong guy. She mixed them up. THe producers didn't cause her to do that
Sorry, no, when I said conflict, I didnt mean fights and arguments. I meant change ensued by a challenging new environment which presents itself as a conflict.

It's possible that too much is being read into it...like I said, I don't have undeniable proof. But I find it hard to believe that FOX would leisurely sit back and let the chips fall where they may when they have BILLIONS OF DOLLARS invested from the advertisers who tend to pull their ads when ratings are low.

Even if Keith and Tara were "plants", which I wouldn't rule out, they still had to be voted onto the show.
Toni screwed up her vote which let Keith in. This seemed to be a genuine mistake on her part, unless anyone wants to speculate that she too was hired.

I always wonder how Toni "screwed" up her vote. Let's say the girls were doing a tally of votes couldn't she just change it if she said the wrong person. My guess was Toni was flattered by Keith's comment that she was one of the girls he wouldn't mind getting to know a lil better and voted for him for that reason.

Hi Annabel - I asked a similar question a while ago regarding the mysterious way Keith was 'accidentally' chosen over the seemingly more ballsy Rapper/Boxer. I kind of felt that the Rapper was intentionally left off the show due to the fact that he (my pseudo-psych. opinion) seemed like he would've been more confrontational with the originals, and I think it would've had the reverse effect of Keith - adding a more confrontational character who could presumably defend himself (verbally and physically) probably would've intimidated the likes of Alex and Zack, etc - and I think they would've befriended him. I honestly see Zack as a guy who would back down to someone who stood up to him and looked him straight in the eye - I can tell just by his eyes that he's not nearly as tough as he portrays himself - do you get that feeling too? I think Keith's passiveness earned him a spot because he's easier to pick on - and maybe the producers saw that - which of course makes for better TV (David vs. Goliath).

-Actually, advertisers sign a contract and cannot just pull out at anytime, however this is besides the point.

Obviously, the introduction of guests with certain twists were meant to inspire sagging ratings. Keep in mind that PH was extended several weeks beyond its original projection - which I think adds plausibility to the idea that the producers were kind of making things up as the show progressed.

I don't think Keith and Tara are FOX plants per say, only because it seemed as though the twists were stimulated by a very negative response of the originals behavior towards them - I honestly can't see Keith or Tara provoking such behavior - Keith was a-hole #1 regardless of who he picked (except Dave) when Zack was removed - I think you only see it at such a spark in the game because of the fact that the Originals made such a big friggin deal out of it - I'm pretty confident that most people (including such wanna-be actors as MTV's Real World etc) would've took that vote off as good sports and the game would've progressed semi-normally. I don't think Keith (or FOX) could've predicted the ridiculous lynch mob mentality following Keith's selection - which obviously led to the twists favoring DCKT.

Same goes for Tara. I don't think she was planted to 'trick' Alex. I think she, like most of us, reacted to Alex and Kristin's egotistical self entitling behavior - culminating with the cheating at Casino night - which led to Tara's behavior. Remember Tara didn't originally side with Charla - she went against her to vote out Amanda -

I think it's easy to see K&T's moves as being planned expos facto, however I think it was the actions of others that led to their particular decisions as well as some of the twists and turns we've experienced here on PH.

I know I babbled a bit on that one, not sure if I made much sense - forgive me I'm a bit tired - long day and no PH to look forward to on Monday night = grumpy day.

    Cheers,

    Jason

My guess is whoever would have been voted on, whether it be keith or the boxer-rapper guy would have been somewhat coached about the group of zack, alex and scott having all the power. I don't think they would tell them to vote off one of those guys but almost impley if you want to stay you have to get rid of one of those guys.

The probably did character studies on both and made sure they had guys who had "balls" to do stuff, knowing that if the original hotel guests kept on staying the show would go into the pooper.

part of me thinks that Tara choose Amanda because she was the easy choice to eliminate. Tara might have gave into the mob mentality(unlike Keith) in fear she would get eaten alive by them if she picked one of the 3 witches.
