8/13 Post Show Discussion ***Spoilers***

Hmm...I'll try. I can only remember one question.

In Pandora's Box someone asked Holly why she's making a fool of Tom by spending all of her time with Scott and she said that no one spends all of their time with their roommate. Basically she didn't answer the question at all.

Is Dave a coward?? I just don't get it!!??!!

1. Alex insults him at the casino party.
2. Charla tells him to kick out Alex.
3. Keith dare him to do so.
4. Beau tells him that he could trust him cuz his neutral.
5. In his speech before the elimination, he said that some people did cheat and it did influence his decision. Alex did cheat!!
6. After the elimination, he tells Amy that he wanted Alex out.

Now, can somebody PLEASE explain me What Was going trought Dave's HEAD and Why, did he voted off Beau!! Was he scared? Of what?? Kristin? Amy? Don't think so!!

I mean it just don't make SENSE!!

P.S: I don't mean to offend nobody, please keep in mind it's my personal opinion.

I think Dave is going with the majority. Almost everyone wanted Beau gone. Dave is the kind of guy (it seems) that wants to please the group. He wants to be liked. Of course he should have gone with his instinct and got rid of Alex, but it's too late now.

I think it was a smart move strategically. Reacting to Alex would have been very short-sighted.

Things that maybe others didn't notice:


- Tom getting dressed up in Charla's dress in the room, but yet immediately they change to the elimination and everyone is in jeans and shirts. Producers told Tom to change?

No, Dave kind of talked Tom out of it. Saying it looks bad unless it was due to a bet he lost or something. I personally think it's because he couldn't find shoes to match that fit him.

What is up with not showing all the Pandora's box questions. That irritates the hell out of me. Are the questions just bad or not mean enough to air?

I LOVE how Dave was proud that Tom thought he was playing the game the hardest. I recall Toni found that to be an insult rather than a compliment.

I really think Dave played the game the best last night with all his "honesty" conversations with everyone. He wanted Alex off, but held off to make more bridges rather than burn them. For some reason I didn't feel Keith saying "I dare you to pick Alex" was a threat. I think Keithbelieved that if Dave did that, Dave would make himself vulnerbable with Kristin and Amy and possibly Scott and Holly.

Dave brought Amy to his side after kicking Beau off while appeasing everyone else in Paradise by kicking off who they wanted. I think it's great that Amy's money helped kick Beau off. I hope she is now on the side of the newbies. Kristin or Tara will go next! Dave is playing it the smartest of all the guests. No one wants him out!

What's the deal with Amy and Dave getting so chummy? She wasn't remotely angered at him for getting rid of beau. Strange things may be brewing there...

The reason they did not show all of Pandora's box is because nothing of interest happened.

How can Amy say that Kristin and Alex lied to her when clearly they didn't tell her anything. I know Amy said she wanted Scott gone last night when she and Dvave were talking before elimination (pre-Tara bash) but is this all of her master plan to "see Keith gone" before she leaves?

Tara looked so upset that no one chose her. She needs to work on her people skills. And make nice with everyone before they vote her off. The look she gave Charla and her fight with Amy won't help her out. Word to anyone who has already said this.

Is it me or does it seem both the girls in Dave's clique are taken by Keith and Tom. Weather watching the show or the previews it looks like the 2 of then show major body language towards each of the 2 guys. I feel this will be the way the show shifts now that the "originals" vs "new people" is a part of the past.

I think on the boatride Keith saw Beau for the fool that he is and saw that there was no way to bring Beau over to the newbies side. Beau was up against everyone except Amy. So Keith used that to work out a temporary "friendship" with Alex. I don't think we'll see this temporary alliance appear again in the future. Beau was an easy target to take down the power of the original alliance. I don't think anyone has got Alex's back but Kristen. That could be easily dissolved if the two of them aren't allowed to room together again.

We still don't have one for Monday's show. *pouting* I think our beloved recappers have abandoned us for their jobs and lives (the nerve - sheesh!).

Do you really think Dave figured that much out, or do you think he was just scurrying around the hotel to make sure that no one was pissed at him and he was still part of the "in crowd"? IMO he was just trying to still be "liked" by everyone and had no long term plans in mind. He is trying to stay one step ahead of the game no doubt. Remember the look on his face and his comments when they brought Tom on? Then look how excited he was when he saw Tom in that dress and couldn't wait to go tell everybody. I was surprised when he told Tom not to wear the dress!
