I wanted to point out that Marissa's absence and then reappearence can make Jack realize he really missed her and it can make their relationship that much stronger.

Isn't that what they used to win on "Let's Make A Deal"? Or am I the only one old enough to remember that show??!!

Did anyone else notice Jack's hand/fingers rubbing back and forth on Marissa's tummy during their one on one time before he brought her in for the big smooch? Very provocative and made them seem very familiar with eachother. Jack doesn't have that comfort level with any of the other gals.

That's the stuff, Rice-A-Roni the San Fransisco treat! A years supply was the consolation prize on what seemed like every game shows in the 70's.

I never did find out what it was, flavoured rice I think.

i have a funny feeling Marissa's going to win ...

plus did anyone notice that in the link that proudnewf provided (the article on Marissa), it mentioned that she decided to move to L.A. after OBJ finished filming (coincidentally where Vadim has also taken up residence) and that she "found the adventure worth the effort."

does anyone else remember "Success! Boil in a Bag Rice" that was a consolation prize on some game show in the 80s? My brother and I shout that at each other when we want to declare victory. Not just big victories, mind you, more like "I figured out what the heck Dad was talking about" victories.

Where are you guys getting that Jack moved to L.A.? I read he was staying in a hotel there while doing promo interviews and the People magazine shoot. That's not my definition of moved. And I still can't see him leaving his injured mother back in Oz...

Of course Marissa's moving there, she's an aspiring actress...
