    From babynames.com
Vadim: meaning: a powerful ruler, Origin: Russian, Nicknames: Vlad
I am guessing that its pronounced as its written Vad im in a deep throaty russian accent. Probably wrong it sounds odd either way especially with an Australian accent. EXLurker I noticed the two belt thing too. Not sure what thats about

He sounds like the total outdoorsy camping type. I'm sure it'll be fun to watch but I'm not sure if a relationship with a high-maintance woman will really work in the long-run. But I guess that's not really a big deal for the show producers.

I think he looks good in that second photo that LG posted. He has a funny expression in the first photo, like he was being forced to smile. And exlurker I have no idea why he has two belts on either.

The only thing I can come up with is that one is a "backup belt" - in case the other one breaks!!

At first I thought it could be a tool belt if he works for a construction company, but there aren't any tools hanging from it and it doesn't appear to have any holsters for a hammer and screwdriver. Those tool belts are heavy and will pull your pants down if you don't wear a different belt in your pants and the tool belt just around you waist.

Maybe he's got some crocodile leashing plans in mind for that extra belt.

Definetly not my type from the picture, but maybe he cleans up better on the show.

Are the women on this show American or Australian? Maybe there is a different cultural ideal of male beauty there....

The official web site has the ladies listed as american born. Now if any are living down under right now is a poser.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!" -- Steve Parker
