This show makes me bawl as well. I couldn't believe the girl who played piano, her Mom had her at 13! The other woman on that episode, the blonde, lives in the next town over from me! It's sad when the parent they are looking for has died, but it's good there's a sibling/siblings that they can meet. The dark haired lady with 3 siblings and she looked like the Mom, I loved that one. And the couple who had to give up their son because they were teenagers. Great show!

    It's on Monday nights now.

I loved last night's show. The gay dad who got the daughter he could have wished for; and the older man who found his sister.

Except I hate it when Lisa whispers, "We found him/her".
Just say it! No need to whisper.

I wish that they would do update shows on people who were reunited in previous seasons to see how their relationships developed. I think that would be really interesting. We see the fantasy realized, but what happens when reality and personalities and honesty unfold in the real world? And how do their worlds mesh or collide? I don't want to see a train wreck, I just want to know how they work things out and cope with their new relationships.

No sooner did I write this post then the very next show that recorded was ... drum roll ... an UPDATE SHOW. How funny.

    Last night was very sweet

The one brother whose sperm donor father did not want to come forward--well that DNA sample with all the relatives is his. Whoever submitted their sample to ancestry would be open to meeting him. I went through the channels of tracking down both sides of my dad's family. He did not know he was adopted. Both sides opened up their arms. And I believe it provides them happiness to know my dad had a very good life. So I say, reach out...
