Love this one, too. I don't think the producers can stage too much with this group - except to put them together in different combinations. So much honesty it's downright refreshing.

Loved the bicycle training. "Feeling the wind in my hair" ... while he's wearing a helmet. Too funny.

I loved Rachel going to Adam Lambert!!! Wayyy too cute!! Too bad she missed the baseball game. sigh

ONE thing that is bugging me though.. when Rachel feeds the two dogs, she always cuts up BREAD. There's nothing else in it, that I have seen. What's with the bread? I doubt that's all they're eating, but still.. it's a tad odd to me.

    John at Lucky Puppy!!! ADORABLE!!

Steven with the "wind in his hair".. hahaha

So many moments that crack me up, make me tear up and also cheer! I never come to an end of an episode where I'm annoyed or mad. Great change!

I'll have to check this one out! The cast were all very cute in the commercials.

After reading these comments, I am looking forward to seeing this. I am glad the producers are not making a mockery of people with DS.

Six episodes in all, recording their summer months. The show has been renewed for a second season, with no word yet on when that will happen.

I just saw all the shows on demand. I'm still tearing after seeing the last episode. Such pure hearts, such blessings. This was really good. I am glad they delved into the hard parts of having children with DS. These young people were high functioning and have so many opportunities for a wonderful future. I was friendly with a man my age (50s) with DS. When he was born, there were no programs for children. Most babies with DS back then didn't live to adulthood. He survived the odds and turned out to be a very smart, very funny person.

I've watched this showed and really enjoy it. It's real and as a previous poster stated: it can't be scripted. These young adults all seem very happy in life and although they have their challenges, they are an inspiration.
I'm glad it's going up for another season.

They're back - in all their wonderful, glorious, happy/sad honesty.

It seems this show is a global success since Megan's overwhelming increase in business was coming from outside the USA as well as here.

I appreciate seeing more of the parents and their loving protective perspectives, even Megan's mom whose motivations still have me a tad curious. That said, I did find her backstory covering Megan's birth to be heart-wrenching.
