Delving deeper into her psychology here...could she be displacing the hostility she felt when SHE was displaced by the next baby in her own childhood? Like: I had to deal with it; so do you! I saw no love or tenderness for poor Spurgie in this last episode, and I can tell he noticed the same thing.

I do sense a "deal with it" attitude, but we have to remember we saw only a small part of their day together.

We saw Jessa "wearing" that baby while cooking, which is maybe the ONE time out of the entire day when she SHOULD have put him down. That was disturbing!

40 hours of labor! Jill just isn't cut out to be the next "19 Kids and Counting," apparently.

I also wonder how many c-sections can a woman have safely.

Apparently up to 5 but not many Doctors can and will do the 5th one due to scar tissue and complications. I only know this because my Best Friend is currently pregnant with her 5th and final child and her doctor here in NJ is one of the only ones who is trained and will do it. But she's planning to move south and she's worried she won't be able to find a doctor who will do the c-section when she moves.

My cousin's wife has had three c-sections (first due to slight complications, and subsequent due to not wanting to attempt VBAC, I think). Anyway, she's now pregnant for the 4th time, with twins(!), and I'm assuming this will be it for them, as that's a handful. So I'd say at least four are do-able, but yeah, I'd think many more than that and the uterus might not hold up.

I kind of assumed 4 or 5 would be doable, but knowing this family...... I hate to think about it.
