Nolan has joined the group; solidarity on the island! That's a milestone in itself.
OMG on the money they must be spending.
I guess its a "now or never" approach they're taking.
I'm still in. No cash, just fascination.

Yeah, lot of stuff Nolan brings to the table.
I'm curious how much so far the History Channel or the sponsors have kicked in for the effort...

So the stuff about the triangular rocks came from Nolan?
Interesting that there's a underwater rock formation and possible shipwreck to check out.
Would be something if the treasure they were searching for wasn't on the island itself in a shipwreck instead...
Well, the triangular rocks wouldn't have been put there unless there was something to hide on the island,
so I guess it's be worth the millions to find it...

I think the triangular rocks discovery came from the two men who had scanned the seabed a few years ago. They found them during the newest scan for the brothers.

Nolan's big tip led to finding the 5-foot void when they drilled (on land). He also gave info on the berm and wooden beams that would currently be under water at the shoreline (in front of the swamp).

    Staging ...
TPTB brought in that Roman sword - from somewhere off the waters of Oak Island -- when they didn't have anything else to use as a peaking moment for the show. Filler.

I understand that this project moves very slowly. Yet I'd prefer to hear more of the brothers fessin' up that it's filler.

I was disappointed that even with 2 divers going down that water filled shaft, nothing was seen! This show could have been done in 3 episodes to show whats been seen so far!

Yup, they gotta milk it big time...Got 13 episodes this season to fill you know

Anyway, it would be disappointing if the reason they couldn't go down the 10-X shaft was because the stupid fallen
drill bit got in the way

As for the other locations, The Money Pit might be too booby-trapped with water to be able to get to the treasure.
The best bet might be the Swamp. Whatever is there might not be a hundred foot deep like the other places...

So the sword was filler as it didn't turn out to be anything useful.
So now they have another possible treasure spot, this time north of the Money Pit I think.
Well, at least it's supposed to be above the water line so it won't be flooded

As I suspected, it wasn't until the finale that a diver got down there and looked around.
A broken drill bit was basically all that was found. Several feet of silt is on the bottom though,
so there's still some hope left for 10-X.

So it looks like next season will be the digging of the Money Pit. It will require a monumental effort
and cost millions to dig all the way to the bottom and deal with the flooded shafts
