I’m so excited for these guys. Makes me wonder, tho. If they do find something amazing, could they keep it out of the news until the show features it?? And I wish they’d quit using the “one more will have to die” in the intro. If I were Dan Blankenship I’d be hiding under my bed in Miami !

That's what I keep telling myself KT, that if they had found something huge wouldn't we know about it by now the way the media grabs onto things?! I really hope they do find something tho, I am emotionally invested in this!

These brothers have now taken that other fork in the road.
The show has gone to historical possibilities. Relics vs. coin. Deeper history.

I appreciate the history, the speculation, the potential.
Not sure I'd put my life savings into it, but I surely want updates.

Still lovin' this show and wishin' them the best.

I caught a marathon a few weeks ago and got hooked. Last night's episode had me on the edge of the couch. Can't wait for next season.

OK, so the finale was interesting. But here's what I don't get --- Last season, they built a six-inch auxiliary bypass hole
to the chamber at the bottom of 10-X. So why didn't they send down the sonar equipment back then rather than wait til
the end of this season? I mean, they spent a ton of time on the swamp, trying to drain it (twice), using ground penetrating radar, etc.
But they still don't have definite proof if there is something in the swamp. Meanwhile, they already had possible item sightings
from the prior expeditions at 10-X, so it seems odd they used the scanning equipment on the swamp first rather than 10-X.
Makes me wonder if the History Channel was involved and had them stall to make the series longer and keep the viewers interested...

Yup. I was having similar thoughts after watching the finale just today. The irony that grabbed me was that 8-inch bore hole right there next to the 10-X 'hole' yet they postpone that to risk the life of two divers first. I figure the History Channel pays its price in promised equipment in order to have a say in the structure of the story. And having/cancelling the dives gave more specialists and divers great publicity.

So, for me it's all good. I'm still totally fascinated and wish them the best of luck, especially Dan Blankenship Sr., finder.

Cool, maybe on the season finale in January they figure out what's down there in 10-X...

OK, saw the Season 3 Premiere episode and that was interesting. So they did radar of the entire island
and found a whole network of tunnels and possible treasure all over the place.
Well, I guess that means it'll take a few more seasons to dig up the island
So they sent a probe down 10-X and saw what looks like gold or something?
Anyway, should be an exciting season...
