    Re: Amazing Race Canada

I really hope they don't spend all of it in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. More obscure places in Nunavet and the Northwest Territories could be fun and they HAVE to spend some time in the ultra gorgeous Newfoundland and Labrador!

One of the challenges of the international race is language and culture barriers. Quebec shouldn't be a huge problem for this group if people studied their French in high school but maybe they have challenges that involve First Nations and Inuit somehow for that element. Or, maybe they just spent a good portion of time in Toronto's "towns"! (Chinatown, etc.)

At first I was not happy with a strictly Canadian locations version, but if the staff was creative and chose the right locations, it could be pretty fantastic.

What I'd like to see on the show:
    Old Quebec City
    The gorgeous ruggedness of Newfoundland
    Nunavet.
    Polar Bears. lol
    Jasper.
    Anywhere in B.C, pretty much.
    Bay of Fundy challenge!
First Nations peoples and a challenge related to it.
Drumheller hoodoos are cool. Not sure what they could do in that location though. Do a archaeological dig?
    Obscure places and odd people.

What I don't want to see:
Anything to do with Anne of Green Gables.
    West Edmonton Mall
Not too much of Toronto, thanks.
Ice Hotel. (I'd like to wager that one is in there somewhere along with that "precious" Anne. blah)
    Anything really cliche.

All I can think is "Body Break" it feels like they've been on tv my whole life but they aren't THAT much old than I am so I know it can't be.

Whatcha got against Toronto, spockwhat? I can see them having some First Nation stuff. I wouldn't be surprised at Anne of Green Gables - Anne's cool! Bay of Fundy could be good...imagine if it was a boat task and some of the teams arrived and the tide was out and they had to wait. I've always wanted to go to Newfoundland so I'd definitely like to see it on the race. There have been some spoilers as to locations - don't know how accurate these are, though
Start off in Niagara Falls, to BC (Kelowna/Vancouver), Whitehorse & Yellowknife. I think Calgary was in there too. Looks like they're moving west to east.

Loving it so far, particularly how they've dealt with the limitations of a Canadian race.
