    How did we make history?

I'm disappointed with the winners but I enjoyed the ride.

    WTG Tim(s)
I felt so bad for them the zoo, they must have been so tired and they breezed the next one with the flags. Great race, it really was, I can't wait for the next AR Canada. - meanwhile AR US starts soon

I may sound dumb, but I was hoping the first parent/child winners could be left for the US to achieve, being the original version and all.

The first ever F/F winners didn't come from America either. Amazing Race: Asia season 1 accomplished that feat.

    Johnny knows his AR trivia.

I found the Tims a bit douchey but it could be because I was so far on the team Jody/Cory side. They deserved to win, though since they came completely from behind to really know their flag and flower combos. If you watch the show you know to pay attention to that stuff.

I'm VERY happy with the result. Ever since Tim Sr. went out on that beam earlier in the season to retrieve the clue, I was so impressed with how he handles his Parkison's and how he doesn't let it stop him from doing what he wants.
It was a great finale episode on it's own, with various teams falling behind and pulling back to the lead again... it was exciting and just when you thought a team was too far behind, they pull ahead to win!

Nice to have an exciting finale to a solid season. And kudos to Jon Montgomery who fit the host role so well... he was mildly humorous and never too over-the-top. He did a great job.
Happy Birthday, sir, despite the circumstances.--John Green
