The one thing of interest was the mention of the ratings - half those of MasterChef. I hope they complete this season on Television and don't ship it off to the internet or flat out drop it.

I make Battenburgs. Pink sponge and white sponge assembled in alternating squares with a jam filling ( I do raspberry and apricot) and then covered in marzipan. It is delicious with a cup of tea. Super sweet, though.
I make way too many desserts.

I'm really enjoying the show - I like that it seems like real people, baking real food. Not a ton of drama. Food that isn't too out-of-reach.
I don't, however, like Crutch Guy. But they want us to hate him, with their editing,

I have only been watching every so often, but I really like this show. Lots of baking and just a smidge of soap opera. One thing that always puzzles me is why are they cooking in this tent in the woods? A very fancy tent, with stoves, electricity and space mind you, but why not in a studio?
