I've enjoyed this show so far. Glad I found this thread.

What a crazy story about the hosts!

Too bad. It seems like he may have made a huge mistake. She seems fine though.

Isn't the Mirror a tabloid? I don't see how a pic of a guy having a smoke on the street means he is "stressed" and "lonely"!

No, the point is that they are no longer an item. There are many links that speak of this. I just happened to choose this one randomly.

The one thing of interest was the mention of the ratings - half those of MasterChef. I hope they complete this season on Television and don't ship it off to the internet or flat out drop it.

Her personal style has bugged me since Day 1. She reminds me of a high school girl.

I must say, though, that I loved her checkerboard cake. Years ago I saw a recipe book for high tea, British-style. It featured a very similar recipe, and said that it was popular at the turn of the 20th century. The main difference was that the book called it "Battenburg Cake". I always dreamed of making one, so I'm glad Kollette did.

I make Battenburgs. Pink sponge and white sponge assembled in alternating squares with a jam filling ( I do raspberry and apricot) and then covered in marzipan. It is delicious with a cup of tea. Super sweet, though.

I make way too many desserts.

Kolette reminds me of Garcia from Criminal Minds
That was a great message! And I've had a terrible day, so thank you.I love random acts of kindness.Really, realy appreciated.Scott- RIP SDL<3

I haven't posted here in FOREVER, but I had to come and comment...
I'm really enjoying the show - I like that it seems like real people, baking real food. Not a ton of drama. Food that isn't too out-of-reach.
I don't, however, like Crutch Guy. But they want us to hate him, with their editing,
Tonight, bread night, did I miss them naming a winner for the signature bake round (1)?

It was Kollette's time to go. She just couldn't get it together.

I have only been watching every so often, but I really like this show. Lots of baking and just a smidge of soap opera. One thing that always puzzles me is why are they cooking in this tent in the woods? A very fancy tent, with stoves, electricity and space mind you, but why not in a studio?
