What would you make for a one bite taste?

I would make a tiny fritter or something battered. Most people are a sucker for a fried nugget of some kind Not sure what I would put in it. Clams in a non traditional combination, maybe. The pickled watermellon rind was a little too far out there.

I was thinking along those linesmShoepie. Lots of the spoons actually contained a protein and 2 sides...things you normally eat separately. I didn't see anybody do that, but ate the contents of the spoon all at once.

She appeared in the ninth episode of season 2, where the thing I remember most is the other chef who made it to the dessert round cut his finger on the first round nd had to restart everything, and then double-dipped on both the entree and dessert rounds, contributing to his elimination. She later returned to compete in the first (rather flawed) Chopped Champions.

These days, no reality show is complete without a sob story.

I figured the "DiMeo" name was familiar, and now I know why.

If any other past cooking reality show contestants show up, I'd love to see Stephen Asprinio and Louis Petrozza <3

That would actually turn me off. I don't like fried things much and with just one bite batter might overwhelm the taste? Just a thought.

Diane strikes me as the contestant that everyone will love to hate, won't be the ultimate winner, and will overstay her welcome on the show purely for the drama she will bring. Although since she won Chopped, she must have some fairly good cooking skills to go along with the potential drama.

You often hear chefs talking about fried food and things like mac and cheese with grand affection. This is because they live in a world of gourmet, cutting edge food. I think it would be a good sell to this group.
