Wow! I have to say I am impressed as I thought they might look down on this.

Me, too.
My grandma had a saying that I've never forgotten from the very first time I heard her say it:
"Babe, be VERY careful about people giving you things, or doing things for you. If they've got to talk about it, or announce it, if they wash your face with what they did later on down the road, then you know that whatever it was they gave you or did for you, they most likely didn't mean it from their heart."
I'm not saying EVERYBODY is this way (I try to factor in that a lot of people just don't mean any harm, when they start running their mouths). But this saying of hers DID give me food for thought that I STILL make a meal of, all these years later.

Sinatra was, too.
Not too long after he died, I remember hearing/reading about how for YEARS, he had silently helped out individuals and various good causes and charities OUT OF HIS OWN POCKET.
And his ONLY stipulation was that his name never, EVER be revealed as having been the donor.
A promise that was kept until after his death.
Great singer.
But even more importantly, a classy guy.

Alana faked being asleep during an interview on Dr. Drew so she could avoid answering his questions. The longer this publicity tour goes on, the worse Alana' behavior becomes. She's clearly exhausted and June should have pulled the plug on these endless interviews long before now.
Honey Boo Boo fakes sleep to avoid Dr. Drew interview - The ClickerWhen asked if she likes being on TV, she shot back a cranky, "No!"
Why?
"Because fans come up to me, and I hate it."
Random thoughts:
She is encouraged to act out for the show and gets support for that. My guess is that she thinks she is supposed to act that way in front of a camera. This is why the interviews are a disaster. She is never coached to answer questions seriously. She may not know how. The interview where she kept putting her hand over June's mouth got laughs from her mother. How is she supposed to know how to behave if she is getting laughs for doing her schick? I am not defending, by any means, just observing. I find it obnoxious.
My philosphy is to live and let live. I have only seen a couple of episodes but numerous clips on entertainment shows. It is their choice to live their life as they choose. I cannot get fired up about this.
Those with money can dontate to anyone they choose! There are no rules or moral reasons to follow. And they can tell the world if they choose, too!
