Oh, I dunno know about that --- pageant kids from parents with "class"? Ever watched the audience on Toddlers & Tiaras? They're a sad looking bunch, probably blowing their last dimes on pageant dresses, hotel rooms, and transportation. They do have high hopes, they are aspirational, but they look to me -- mostly -- like a bunch of losers. There probably are a few upper middle class families, but I don't think many -- they'd be roundly ridiculed by friends and neighbors in most well educated and higher socioeconomic circles.
