Maybe they should eliminate one of the upper arm challenges and put one in that requires reading directions in order to complete it. That would even it up - because women do that better than men.

    (LOL. Ducking!!!)

I still think they ought to put in the travelator ramp from American Gladiators, need something to use the legs more...

Crank It Up was a tough new obstacle, worthy of winning the obstacle contest.
Usually the first three obstacles are gimmies, but not on this course.
The Broken Pipes may be the toughest balance obstacle ever on ANW.
BTW, I liked the evolution of the first obstacle from the Quad Steps to the Quintuple Steps to now the Floating Steps.
While it's not super difficult, at least it takes more than a couple seconds to complete, instead of everyone blowing right through it...

History was made in the Cleveland qualifier this week.
For the first time, two women (Allyssa Beird and Jesse Labreck) finished the same qualifier course in one week.
Beird was the 6th woman to scale the Warped Wall and finished 14th, Labreck became the 7th and finished 12th.
The other three women advancing fell on the Ring Jump and didn't make the Top 30.

Yeah. That was a tough course.
    Seeking form amidst the void.

But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.

Those women rocked it! Go girls!

Also, I love the Weatherman! He is my favorite! Glad to see him hit the buzzer.

There were a lot of sad stories this week. A few made me tear up.

Speaking of tough new obstacles, they had the Rail Runner in the Denver qualifier this week.
That sucker was over the top brutal!! I felt there were some significant design flaws: For one, the transition from the first rail to the second, the second rail was positioned so that it was easy to bump your head/face/nose. Another was the rails themselves. I felt that there should have been notches for the handlebar to rest in all along the rail. It still would have been a difficult obstacle, but would have stabilized the handlebar in the rail a little bit. (JMHO)
