Haha Uncle David, that was very funny!
I agree the show is cheesy and it probably won't be any better than the American version, but I will still watch. It's an addiction you know. Well, maybe just an affliction, since I managed to wean myself off of Ben's season.
I wonder if they will do all the international travelling or stay in Canada until the Fantasy dates? I hope so, there are many places to see in our wee little country.
ETA: I don't think it is because of the hosts being less well known, they just aren't as funny. I find Canadians have a very good sense of humour, but you'd never know it based on hosts of Canadian tv. JMO.

Sheldon Cooper: Woman, you're playing with forces beyond your ken
Penny: Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie.
I thought the Canadian version of Top Chef was really good. Can't wait until the 2nd season starts in just about a week!
I agree, CNTM was pretty lame. The 2nd winner was gorgeous though (the redhead was it?) I wonder if she is still modelling. Off to google...
I can't wait to see who they choose. I have to admit my love for Canadian versions, even though they seem so low-budget compared to our neighbours to the south.
I thought this was kind of weird, actually...there has been several Canadian contestants on the US Bachelor/ette. That horse-faced girl (Gillian??) was The Bachelorette one season, even. So will US residents be allowed to apply?
