Plastic surgery is just for those fortunate few who can afford it. They gave Rachel plastic surgery for dramatic affect on the show. Also, she might have more weight to lose; but, there's the bigger problem of what if she gets tired of exercising and eating right? That's why she only lost three pounds during that one three-month segment. Plus, her mother was resistant to getting rid of the junk food in the house.

Full body lifts on average range from $12,000 to $50,000. The cost is based on 3 parts, the anesthesia fee, the hospital fee and the surgeon's fee. Health insurance will cover it if it is deemed a medical necessity.

    cost: $59.00

On Chris's Blog he does go into detail about how he gets his clients to lose weight through proper nutrition. He does recommend making food in big batches twice a week enough food for a 4 day period. He suggests cooking Sunday and Wednesday. Portioning the food into the Stax system. He does not say to only use the Stax system, he recommends it, but you can use ordinary tupperware containers. Then eat every 3 hours. The Stax system provides a timer.

There are people who don't have health insurance. Of course the show will pay the cost of the participant's plastic surgery.

Well, with the national health plan that will soon be available that won't be a problem in the future now will it.

If they do the thighs and butt yes. But I am just going on what I read on the plastic surgery sites.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but don't most PS recommend that you be at your goal weight for at least a year before removing excess skin?

    I believe you are correct.

May keep watching the show if there is nothing else, but I agree with previous posts, you have to get behind the psychology of the weight gain. with the lack of support from her family, she risks gaining it all back.

And as someone who also works out 1-2 hours a day/5-6 days a week, at 39 it's exhausting, but at 22 I could double double that.
