My thoughts while watching this week's episode: MFW is going to be happy.

I finally got a chance to watch the episode. All my fears were wrong, and you are right, I'm a happy camper!

I'm glad the judges gave Trevor a Mulligan for his dessert. I wouldn't expect him to win Top Chef, but he has been dealt some bad luck with all the desserts he's had to make.

I'd love to see a Jonathan-David final 2. Either one winning it all would really make me happy. I don't have anything against Carl, but I just don't connect with him like I do with the other two. But the previews for next week look fishy: They tried to imply that Trevor implodes, but I think something very different happens. We'll see...

I still have to try Johnny's restaurant before the finale. I would suppose that if he wins he will move on elsewhere....

I'm a fan of the final 4. I think a few others could have made it along the way, but I like who we've ended up with.

I thought it was funny when Xav was reading the KD box! It's second nature to most of us.

I think it's a good final four. I like Xavier as a person but as a chef (at least on the show) he was inconsistent. It was funny to see him reading the KD box. Almost as fun as watching them all feign enthusiasm at Keshia Chante showing up as the guest judge for the quickfire when you could tell most of them were thinking "Who is that?"
Fabricca looks like a nice restaurant. I've been to the McEwan's (the grocery store they shop at) many times, but I've never been to the restaurant although it is just across the way.

    Re: Top Chef Canada

KD was the first thing I learned how to make as a kid, so I cracked up as well seeing Xav reading the instructions. I am happy with the F4 although like others I wouldn't mind if Carl were the next to be cut. He just doesn't do anything for me. Although I do recognize he has great skills, he just seems uninspired.

I'd love to see Jonathan and David as the F2.

I feel like for some of the celebs there is a lot of editing after the fact or in confessionals. At least they have no trouble identifying the Chefs!

I've heard of Keshia but I can't say that I'd recognize her songs.

At least you'd heard of her. I had no idea who this girl was!

I only knew who she was because she comes from my neighbourhood in Ottawa. When she "broke out" it was a pretty big deal here. I think Jonathon knew her name. She's on YTV's Next Star, too.
