Just wanted to say "Kudos" to Madison for being student body president and winning such a great scholarship. It was almost a "Don't blink or you'll miss it" moment. I think we would all liked to have heard more about things like that than all the silly drama.

Oh yes. I would have preferred to see more about the kids scholastic achievements and not the big accolades to Kody. Enough already.

Facts are now coming out that at least two of the "Venture Capitalists" are actors. The lady with the cleavage is also known as "Stevie K" . . . and one of the other guys (didn't catch his name) is likely her husband - also in show business in some capacity.

I'm really annoyed that TLC - "The Learning Channel"(?) believes viewers to be so stupid that no one would check up on people who appear on this train wreck of a "reality" show.

wow. i guess it's not surprising, but still...

maybe there were no venture capitalists at all and they were all actors...it would explain why they got the money, lol...

I enjoyed this latest episode. It's exactly what I was just asking for - more of the kids, less of the wives. It's great to see how the teens are adjusting and living. Aspyn in so pretty and I can totally picture her as an elementary teacher. Logan has also seemed like a very well rounded kid and I can see him as a great role model for his little brothers and sisters. And, I think it's great to see how Mykelti has really grown from her wild-child years to a driven young adult trying to reach her dreams as a fashion designer.

Did I miss it or did they skip an update on Mariah? Maybe it's because she's away in UT?

More episodes should be just like this one - Less Cody, more kids!

You know, when you think about it, the kids are great. Really. They're great. The Browns must be doing something right. . .

Yep . . . the adults stay so wrapped up in themselves that they leave the kids alone to raise themselves. Best thing they can do for them.

The Brown parents do have a lot of issues, but in some areas I think they are good parents. They do value their kids and seem to want to do things together. They seem to promote higher education all the time. They encourage the teens to attend college and to go off and start their own careers and follow their own dreams. Even though there are lots of children to raise they don't try to keep the older children around to do that for them. They encourage their children to be open minded about other people's faith and opinions. They teach their kids to respect their body and not to allow anyone to tell them any different They don't mind making a fool out of themselves, laughing at themselves and will admit to the kids when they are wrong. They try to make each child feel special. They are definitely not the worst reality tv parents by a long shot, IMO.

    Just watched last night's episode.

I hereby nominate Kody Brown as "self-absorbed, condescending, rude and insensitive person of the year for the entire world."

I just caught the very ending of the show because I had the Amish thing DVR'ed. Can't someone tell Cody that he wears his ponytail like a girl? I couldn't believe how stupid that looked!
