SYTYCD Canada - Season 3

I was looking to see if there was a thread for So You Think You Can Dance Canada and I had no luck. I'm really excited because a teacher at my daughter's dance school was auditioning for it and she made it to the final auditions in Toronto. I was hoping to share with fellow watchers!

I was pleased they went with 22 contestants this season.
I was also pleased to see Mary on the judging panel last night.
She adds fun and enthusiasm that SYTYCD lacked with Mia on the panel this season, imo.

I enjoyed the show last night. I missed a few routines, but of the ones I saw, I thought they all did fairly well, considering it was the first episode.
I also was pleased to see Mary on the judging panel. She does bring some craziness, but she also gives good criticism to the dancers, IMO. I hope to see more of her this season.

There is so much talent in there this year! The couple where the girl is from Montreal and is a ballroom dancer and they guy from Cuba....sizzling!!!

I didn't think Hany (thinks thats his name) should have been the one to go from the guys.
Sometimes I think they just pick the partner of the other person voted out so that it makes it easier and the couples stay the same.

I've been very unimpressed with Blake's choreography this season.
It was refreshing that he didn't have Jeff and Janick dance to a Katy Perry song last night, but the crawling around and climbing on the cage did nothing for me.
I hink he's capable of better than he's shown us this season.
