They probably will use the photo trick because they are reading and aware of the criticism. I can see them using Lois Armstrong, What a Wonderful World and posing national landmarks and nature. If the music hits your heart, it means votes. I agree that they do not deserve the win because their skill is lacking.

If they did a nature theme I actually think I might kinda like it, depending how they do it, that is. Maybe if they tried creating some animals. Probably not birds but maybe like elephants and lions and stuff. If they were to do that and pull it off perfectly I'd be impressed.

And I'll admit that I didn't go into specifics in my last post, as there's more to it than just "another tribute". Alright, well, somebody suggested a 9/11 and twin towers theme. Which would be another emotional performance, for sure, but I just don't think it's right. Reasons being what I stated earlier, especially with something like that.

They included the twin towers in the Amercia act. There are not enough visuals for 9/11 anyway.

I would like to see animals, as well. That would be good for them. But again, I am not sure their skill level is keen enough. There are way too many children. The troupe that did this years ago were good at contortion. They were execellent but disappeared and I assume it was lack of work in this area. They were all dancers so had other opportunities to remain in that field. Or not, I suppose. Anyway, they canned the siloutte routines.

    Re: America's Got Talent

Whew. Well, that was pretty good. Didn't start out too well but got better.

    My thoughts:

Miami All Stars - Um, not sure what to think. Probably my least favorite out of all their live show performances, and I think this is the end. Out.

Lys Agnes - I read about her idea earlier today, before the show even started, and I was pretty worried for her that she was gonna blow it. After seeing the performance happen, I still am not sure. It wasn't bad, but was it good enough? I don't know. I'm worried for her cause I do like her. Would like to hear what others have to say on her cause I don't know. Not sure.

Landon Swank - Wasn't the best, but I kinda liked it anyway. Not sure.

Anna Graceman - Congrats on making it this far. Don't know if she should go on, though. Out.

Silhouettes - Glad to see they didn't go last again, but after that I don't think it would have mattered. A combination of their first two performances, pretty much, and they sure came back from last week's mess. I also feel kind of dumb for saying "what else could they do?" earlier, as if I never even saw their audition. The story-types, of course. Doesn't always have to be silhouettes of buildings or whatever. Speaking of the buildings, and this happened in their QF as well, you can see their real pose form into a silhouette of the actual photo right before the photo shows up. Not sure what that's about. This was better than last week, yes. I think they're in.

Smage Bros. Riding Shows - This is far as they might be going, now. It wasn't a bad show, of course, but I think they were outshined by others, definitely. Out.

POPLYFE - Eh. It was good, I guess. The background singing in the later half kind of threw me off, but Kehlani's a good lead singer. And lol at Howie calling us idiots if we don't vote them through (that's what he basically did, right?). I sometimes feel like saying the same thing when certain acts DO go through, but that won't go over well, will it? Possibly and probably in.

West Springfield Dance Team - As much as I am NOT rooting for them to make the Top 4, I have to say I disagreed with the judges. They told them that they could have done better had they "surprised" us by ditching the horror genre and going with something else. This is what they are known for, this is what they are, so why change? I don't know. But yeah, I think it's over for them. Congrats on being the Youtube sole survivors though. Out.

Landau Eugene Murphy Jr. - I still love him. He was great, and if Lys can't make it, then I hope he does. If both can make it, that would be greater. In.

Team iLuminate - I hate to say this, but... oh nevermind. I won't. Maybe some other time. They are great and they would definitely be my number 1 pick to go see live. In.

The color-coded ins outs and not sures are what I think so it doesn't mean much.

I won't count anybody out (well, maybe a couple) because anything can happen (in most of their cases, anyway). Some even brought in sob stories we never knew they had. So, cool.

I don't really ever comment on guest performances, but nice to see Michael Grimm back and I thought he did well. Tomorrow we got Def Leppard and Il Divo. Next week I think we got Jackie Evancho, starting last season we got a group performance from contestants who made the live shows but not the Top 4, so we might get that again, and, my personal fav, the audition all stars! And some other surprises too, I am sure.

Landon's act would have been better if the fish was in the hand that showed up in the tank. Kind of looked like the hand of someone who was in the cabinet in the bottom of the aquarium.

Yeah, that was odd and I think Piers was correct in thinking the illusion did not go as planned. That hand could easily have had a fish in it. The guy was in the box under the tank. I thought the whole thing was off.

Illuminate is the clear winner for me. Even if they don't win, I can easily see a casino in Las Vegas signing them.

Pretty sure the Sillouettes will be in the final 4. I don't think they do a good job with this excellent idea, though. And Landon. I cannot even guess on the other two. Maybe POPLYFE.

    My top 4 are:

    1. iLuminate
    2. Silhouettes
    3. Smage Bros.
    4. probably Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, but I could also see PopLyfe or Landon Swank taking this spot.

I am somewhat hoping for West Springfield Dance Team to make it since they are semi-local and my friends's kids so to that school. They are not one of my favorites though.

    Re: America's Got Talent

I think the Final Four are going to be:

    Team iLuminate
    Landau
    Silhouettes
    POPLYFE

My personal wants on the Final Four:

    iLuminate
    Landau
    Lys

...and whoever else, I guess. As long as they don't win.

I kinda hope Lys gets another chance. Silhouettes did, so why can't she? Huh? Because this is the top ten now and she wasn't the best she could have been? Well, I guess so, but still.

As much as they did not deserve to be here, the Silhouettes did come back though and redeemed themselves. Turned me around? I don't know. But I guess this was my favorite performance of theirs since their audition. Whatever that means. The story shows I can handle more than the not-great poses, and the patriotism has been done twice now too, so if they make the Final 4, let's go with something else.

I'm starting to think Anna might have a shot. Unlikely, but it's there. She has a big fanbase. We'll see.

    Re: America's Got Talent

Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the show last night due to work. From the sound of things though it's iLuminate's to lose.

I am kinda hoping with JohnnyK though that it's three acts that deserve to win based on overall performance and probably one that is OK and at least would be fine to win.

Landau and Lys are the only two singers though I really want to see here in top four. Would prefer a non singing act to win, but if they won it'd be much better than last year's winner.

(BTW, Johnny, nice picture of Coach. Probably the best one he's ever had for that show.)

    Re: America's Got Talent

I find most of the acts that come on this show to be entertaining to some degree, but there are VERY few I'd pay money to see - not to mention spend an hour of time watching (or however long a Las Vegas act typically runs). I'm partial to Landau but he really needs to beef up the performance side of the equation. I'd sit through a few songs and be completely bored. Not sure how to do that, though...maybe some dancers, etc.
