In the case of the wedding dress challenge, I think the polite thing to do is actually to not say anything. It was an argument between 2 people that they probably would not have wanted you to hear. Just think about what you would want if someone overheard you in that situation. I'm sure that few people would want someone they don't know to comment if they had been in that situation.

I'm torn as to the proper thing to do with the elevator challenge. On the one hand, it's none of my business what someone else does with their body. On the other, she was potentially hurting someone. Not only the unborn baby; but, because of second-hand smoke, everyone else also.

I'm sure all the contestants are floored by how they look on the secret footage, but come on. Alot of it so normal.

Amy is not an ugly person on the inside. Her little talk about Liz was a bit snarky but still mild and well within the realm of normal discussion.

I do think Amy was the right one to leave but only because she needs more confidence.

Amy walked by the people who needed help... the bride and the lady who dropped her luggage: Amy is selfish. Also, if an elevator door had opened and someone inside was smoking, I would wait for the next elevator.

YES! Many of the challenges/tests this season have been horrible! Depending on how you were raised you might think it most polite not to comment on the bride/mom-zilla or the smoking pregnant lady. Considering how Liz acted I found most of the contestants observations smack on target!

I have to agree - some people are taught to not intervene in situations such as the mom being rude to the daughter in the bride store. The reasons are for personal safety as well as potential loss of customer - which in turn could cause you to lose your job (here the contest).

Same with the smoking - you could ask her not to smoke or drink because you don't want her to get hurt (I'd be asking also simply because I'm an asthmatic and this can trigger a severe attack), but you don't want to risk your health as well. The woman could easily start a catfight in the elevator, causing it to get stuck or worse, you get hurt.

That said - I was shocked Amy ignored the woman with the luggage - most if not all people I know of would help the woman with the luggage. It was what cost her the game plain and simple - IMHO she'd stayed over Craig, who had much worse offenses than Amy did.

Now, do I think she'd won? - no, and exactly for what you said Jexter - she was not confident enough. Hopefully this is a wake up call to her to work on her confidence as well as people skills.

Out of the final three, I'd kinda like Erica to win, but anyone but Craig would be fine with me. It will be interesting though to see how they react to the fact this was not everything they thought it was.

I am surprised that there are enough gullible people in this world though to allow returns of shows like this - "Joe Schmoe" and "Joe Millionaire" are two examples of this. Out of those - "Millionaire" had to go international in order to keep up the ruse and "Schmoe" one person actually DID figure it was fake before the show was over the second season, so she agreed to play along and got to keep the trip she won before she figured it out as a thanks and prize.

I couldn't believe how clueless so many were about pronouncing words. They also didn't seem to even know what those words were. I guess I'm expecting perfection and shouldn't be.
I can't find one redeeming attribute in Liz but she does make "good TV."
I also live in SoCal and there are so many people that are a million times better looking than this bunch! It just amazes me how these people THINK they are so good looking. They look in the mirror enough...don't they see how sorely lacking they are in the looks dept? Only the one girl, I think her name is Erika...is fairly decent looking...the rest...well...someone lied to them about how beautiful they were and they believed it! And unfortunately, this show is going to solidify the lies they believe about how beautiful they think they are! Get real people! Even if they were all gorgeous, their inner-ugliness makes them look ugly on the outside too.

I know this will sound odd but everytime I look at Craig, all I see is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's daughter, Shiloh.
especially now that she likes to dress as a boy.

    Re: True Beauty 2

I absolutely agree that Craig is polishing his Brad Pitt look. All he needs is to sprout some strange-looking grayish chin hair and he'll have locked it in.

Craig is all about Craig, so it really took me by surprise that he helped the lady with the luggage and Amy walked by. I think Amy was so locked into her fear over this smack-down (what the heck do they call that last meeting?) that she barely noticed, or didn't even register it. I think Craig was over-confident enough to take the time to help.

Amy just didn't have the confidence, and everything seemed to come through as negative energy on her part. I thought it was another dumb challenge, because not everyone has played cards or been in a casino to understand it. HOWEVER - they did give some basic training, and if you want to be the "Face of Vegas", maybe you should be able to hold your own as a dealer. Blackjack can't be the hardest game to learn. (although I hide myself at the one-armed bandits and bet my pennies at a time; at least I can figure out how to do that!)

When it came down to it, inner beauty really would be more natural to
Amy than Craig, and she's showed more of it along the way, but her negativity is what really did her in.

In the final 3, they should get a chance to smack Craig in the face with his TRUE beauty. I think Erica has this one. The boys have been much more offensive than she has, and she has gone out of her way for others much more. Unless she implodes on the finale, I think it's hers to lose.

    Re: True Beauty 2

One thing I wondered about Amy. Watching her scene with the lady and the luggage, it almost appeared someone called to her off camera. She wasn't there very long watching. I wonder if it's possible that they wanted to get her off to have the final three include Craig.
I'm not excusing her not helping. Of all the challenges, I felt that was one of the best indicators. However, we can't really tell by the snippet we were shown just how it went down. Did Craig have a longer time watching the lady struggle? Not to mention that men are trained (hopefully) from the time they're very young to assist a lady. (Or they were in my day!)
Again, I'm not excusing Amy's not helping, just wondering if it could've been rigged a bit to get the outcome they wanted.
(Not that they would EVER do that on a reality show.)
