This thread is dead. Not a lot of people watching this show?

Anyway, I really think that a lot of these clients these guys get are set up by the network. This show just seems so staged its ridiculous.

I watch this show and shake my head MORE at the clients they have then at Josh, Chad and Madison.

Come on now who was that dude that brought his Paris Hilton lookalike wife over to see the NB Mansion and come to find out he lives right next door??? ODD. My DSon's boss lives on Newport Coast and those homes are LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY!!! The views are amazing of the ocean. Hey I am not a Broker but that 8 million CASH deal....she should have GRABBED it.

The DIVA with the botox...omg...her lips were HUGE...

Chad's gf was soooo bored listening to him practice his speech.

I will say Chad did a much better job than Madison with his speech at the convention...I felt bad for Madison.

The more clients they show on television, the weirder and weirder I really think the mega-rich are in that part of California.

The woman in the botox room wasn't a diva. She was an overdone surgeried freak.

I also thought that one chick looked like Paris. And as a broker myself, I also felt within a first few minutes that they weren't serious buyers.

Props to Josh for giving up that 10 million dollar listing when the seller didn't take the 8 million offer. Although, he did a diservice to his client when he met with the other agent at the home and openly admitted that he felt the home was overpriced and would try to get his client to take a lesser offer.

Chad is such a loser. The pants, that dog, his hair, getting laser surgery when he doesn't have an ounce of body hair anywhere? I mean, he doesn't even look like he's gone through puberty yet.

His girlfriend is pretty cute. I have no idea what she see's in him. But from the little she's been on the show, she seems really uninterested in him.

Regarding the speech... wow, Madison looked like he was really, really, really struggling. But again, you never know what was creatively edited by the shows producers.

I mean, I for one find it a little unbelievable that two agents on the same reality show were scheduled to speak at the same out of state seminar - and neither of them had prior knowledge of each other going?

What I'm trying to say is, I think the show set up that seminar, and I wouldn't be suprised if the audience were "extra's" or something.

Cindyana looked like a porn star, to me. I, honestly, couldn't imagine her doing anything else.

    Chad is Peter Pan.

    Hillarious.

I laugh everytime I see him. He's got such scrawny legs and his pants always look like they're painted on.

Wouldn't you love to get Chad to a barbershop? Could he possibly play with the hair any more? I suspect maybe the the camera crew/ director was playing a joke where they constantly told him his hair was messed up and that he should fix it, then edited it to show him constantly looking in the mirror and tugging his weird bangs?

Prhoshay, I totally thought she must do porn as well due to her wacky collagen lips and her voice. Thank you Hunter for sleuthing out her actual website. Holy re-touched photos!!!

So I had to go and see what Mr. Bloom did to make all his money. Looks like he and his brother started a health insurance company called AmeriPlan, located in Plano, TX.

I thought that Cindyana person looked like a drag queen. I was convinced she was a man. Guess I was wrong!

    Chad = Peter Pan...great analogy!

After having read Cindyana's bio, I'm just shocked and disappointed in the fact that a woman with so much talent chose to mutilate her face like she has.

on both thoughts...Cindy, a drag queen and Chad as Peter Pan.

Come on, her lips were HUGEEEEEEE. Who wants to really look like that?

And Chad, omg, he sooooo needs that MOP cut. Why does he think that looks attractive?

I like that Madison was concerned enough about his appearance at the conference that he asked two good friends to assist him in wearing the proper apparel. Although, I thought he looked great....hmmm....he did not come off as well UNLESS this was some crafty editing by the show to make Chad look better at the conference than Madison.

$3 million price cut sells TV-featured O.C. mansion
    October 28th, 2009
So here’s the rest of the story ….

A Newport Coast home was featured Monday night on Bravo TV’s “Million Dollar Listing,” with an asking price of just under $10 million.

There was a big fight over the difference between that price and the $8 million cash offer.

What you didn’t see play out on the show: The 6-bedroom, 9-bath Pelican Crest house wound up not selling, then going into foreclosure a few weeks after the episode was taped.

And the Realtor who made the $8M offer, which the owner deemed “insulting,” was the one who the lenders called to sell the property after they took it over!

And sell it he did. Lance Fogel of Hom Real Estate Group in Newport Beach got $7,050,000 for it.

Not without some drama, though. He said the house fell out of escrow repeatedly before selling. At one point, a flooded basement caused $200,000 worth of damage, he said, and led to the price drop.

The listing on the 11,500-square foot home at 25 Skyridge said in part:

” ‘Villa Florencia’ on a grand scale! This brand new Pelican Crest estate boasts unobstructed views from Catalina Island to downtown Los Angeles … Have a hundred of your closest friends over for a BBQ, or a dozen for the weekend.”

The house has a commercial-size elevator, swimming pool, theater, grand salon, and an oversized 3rd story master suite with a balcony.

“It’s very new money,” was how Josh Flagg, the Realtor on ”Million Dollar Listing” described the place. Flagg had the co-listing on the house before it went into foreclosure. But, the home, which he snickered was not the “Taj Mahal”, wouldn’t draw $10 million ”for a long time,” he figured.

He was unable to convince the owner of that, who called the $8 million offer “ridiculous.” His lost commission: $80,000.

That other listing broker with Josh should have taken that $8 million dollar CASH offer............
