I hope she is happy forever.
Molly succeeded because she wasn't treated the same way as her older brothers...Amy and Matt were so focused on Zach and Jeremy and their activities (soccer) and making the sure they were popular kids at school, they basically allowed Molly to be independent. She spent a lot of time growing up with her grandmother (Matt's mom). Amy was busy busing the boys to soccer and social stuff so Molly went to Grandma's house. As I recall Matt's mom taught her to knit, sew, cook, bake...all the things Amy should have doing with her but didn't. I'll never forget the time Molly had a volleyball game and didn't make it to the farm in time for the opening day of pumpkin season..Amy went and picked her up and yelled at her the whole way back to the farm about how she should have left the game early...blah, blah, blah...meanwhile Amy would drop everything to watch the twins play soccer and be the most obnoxious soccer mom on the sidelines. I really felt bad for Molly after that...I think the love and attention of her grandparents propelled her to be a better student and person than her brothers who are basically slackers and lack work ethic and gumption. Amy probably likes to take credit for Molly's successes but she had very little to do with it...the credit goes to Molly herself and her grandparents for the nurturing that was lacking at home.

The dress is very pretty, but not really outdoorsy or casual, like the other two. It's almost like she would've preferred a traditional, indoor, formal wedding but agreed to the family business WEDDING BARN to please her dad, which I could totally see her doing.

    Team Molly!

I did not realize Molly was with her grandparents that much. Now I have a really soft spot for Molly because my grandparents were my everything!

I guess she preferred to hang out with Matt's parents rather than running around with Amy and the twins. Can't say I blame her! Jacob was totally ignored by both Matt and Amy...when the friend of the family Mike died, Jacob took it pretty hard. Mike spent a lot of quality time with Jacob teaching him to do a lot of stuff and even doing soccer with him.

If I had to choose between hanging out with Matt's parents and Amy, I'd be hanging out with Mollie and the grandparents for sure. I don't recall that they ever showed Mollie playing soccer, so she and Amy had nothing in common.

I'm not all that thrilled with the trend of new baby names these last 5 years, or so, but I think Ember is really very lovely considering some of the names I've heard.

Ember has been around at least that long; I know a six-year-old by that name. I wish they'd gone with Daisy! Wonder if she inherited that crazy, curly, "firy" red hair (hence the name)?

Just for the record - Ember weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces. NOT 7.13 pounds (which would be 7 pounds, 2 ounces). Always more!!!!
