Sure, things like cribs and carseats have limited life span due to codes, but there are plenty of toys and clothing that do not. I personally love scouring thrift stores and used clothing stores for items, but I can't picture Amy buying anything used.

Yes, I was shocked when my DIL said that Stevie's car seat as an EXPIRATION DATE on it. Whatttttttt?

AND the car seat cost a FORTUNE.....because it does 10 things I guess. AND it EXPIRES????

Rozzie 17, Perhaps that old 1981 crib can be transformed into a youth bed. I bought a beautiful hand carved crib in 1981 for my one and only child. I wound up sharing it with a friend and even my former husband when he had his first child.

I don't gamble at casinos, either, for that same reason....throwing my money away. I am risk-aversive, what can I say?
Just have to add a comment. Back when Matt was dreaming he was also working hard. He had that job he had to commute to and also was a big member, maybe president, of Little People Of America where he started his LP Stool business he wants to pass onto Zack.

I see none of his hustle in his boys. Maybe a bit in the daughter who has kind of become absent from the filming most of the time.

Amy seems happy to enjoy the fruits of Matt's labor now (as well as in the past), yet seems to resent that he wasn't hands-on with the kids 24/7. and she never supported any of his "crazy dreams" that made her a celebrity and -- most likely -- a millionaire today. Can't have it both ways, Amy!
