I've caught a few episodes, they remind me of the American Chopper crew. It seems like a pretty high end pawn shop. I feel badly for the people who are so desperate to sell that they let go of some of their stuff for way less than they went in there hoping to get. They would do better trying Ebay or Craig's list. I was happy to see the guy with the canon get so much but wonder why he didn't try to market it to a collector.
Have you done your Green deed for the day?

It's set in a Pawn Shop in Las Vegas and folks come in with all kinds of items.
    Pretty cool show I think.

My only pet peeve is they really do low-ball the sellers, even after the expert will say that its worth something.

I think the buyers are too impatient to wait for a collector or an auction to get more money. $500 bucks now is sometimes better than $2500 in six months.

I like this show because I like seeing all the unusual items and the history behind them.

It reminds me of that show Lovejoy. The seller of the cannon got pretty close to what the pawn shop will get but most of the others aren't. I think the biggest moneymaker though might be when the customer doesn't come back for his or her item in time. There was one show I think where the pawn shop made 4 or 5 times what the guy pawned a watch for.
