Anyone watching this season? I thought the premier was pretty good. I am looking forward to tonight's show. I thought they treated the Wade Belak suicide with grace...that was pretty shocking when it happened. It has been a crappy summer filled with hockey tragedy.

I've watched here and there. Actually I'm watching now for lack of anything else interesting on for me here. I don't know how I'm feeling about Bryan Berard being there with some of his issues but he is interesting to watch in this context.

Yes, I'm watching. I am absolutely thrilled to have David Pelletier on this season, skating with female hockey player (her name escapes me at the moment). Loved their performance. I thought she did well for her first performance. I do miss seeing Jaime Sale and Shaye-Lynn Bourne this year though. I'd love to see them bring in more female hockey players next year and pair them up with the likes of Elvis Stojko, Victor Kratz and Emmanual Sandhu. I am assuming they're "testing the waters" with this season's female hockey player competitor and will probably include more next time around.

Wow. I was really moved to a few tears with the whole Russ Courtnall filling in for Belak. I still like this show and may try to get tickets.

Guess tonight's show was just a recap of the last three seasons and a preview of the this years contestants. Actual show starts next week.

I saw the ad for this yesterday. I thought maybe I'd check it out but then I saw that twit from the HNIC panel, PJ Stock, is one of the judges. Nope. I see enough of him every Saturday night, I don't need to see him blather on on other shows!

I really wish this show was available to us in the U.S. and that all our shows were available to the Canadians. I'd love to be a be to watch it either on my tv or online.

The teams are really good this year. Some of the hockey players are better figure skaters than others, but for the most part the guys are really embracing it.
