This neighborhood will NEVER be the same. I'm sure the participants hadn't thought through the whole thing when they agreed. I also wonder if they knew it would be a "vote for elimination" situation or thought it was simply a matter of "last one to complete a task is out".

If the winner will be voted for by the eliminated teams (I've onlly heard a rumor, not sure) I already know how it'll go. Whichever of the remaining two teams were "kings" who set up the others for elimination, will not win. Thus, it would really be an advantage to never have been in the "king" position at all but just arrive at the end by pure good luck. Or, at least, to have been "Kings" the least number of times. It's really quite a stupid game design.

I wonder why electricty isn't allowed? Are they trying to make it a bit "Survivorish"?

I think the initial "Kings" based their choices for elimination on friendship but now we're getting down to eliminating the stronger teams - friendship be da**ed.

It's just a mean-spirited concept for a reality show. Clearly, the producers have no concern about what happens to these families later. Pretty sad.
    What?! Am I still here?

I think the no electricity thing is a tool used to get people at their worst. Be honest if they had air, tv, and gaming systems than they would not be in such bad spirits and jump on each other. It really is sickening and much like becoming laboratory rats.

Having no electricity is just another one of Fleiss's ways to be even more mean and cruel. Georgia summertime with no air?!?! Especially with older people and young kids........just plain cruel.

After watching the finale, I think this neighborhood will be okay.

Blech hated the campaigning the Johnstons pulled off at the BBQ, kind of sorry they won and in a landslide 21-3. Wow

I agree, I thought that was tacky. They dragged the darn thing out so long, I fell asleep before they announced the winner
