Re: Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins

This used to be my favorite show on tv but now it just seems like the same drivel season after season. More than anything I am SOOOOOO sick of Kenny/Evan/Johnny walking around as if they run these games. I can't stand any of them, especially Evan. The only parts of The Ruins that I have found at all interesting was the old schoolers and their drama (Tonya/Veronica/Katie). Instead of using the same newbs from the last five seasons of the Real World and banging two or three of these out a year I wish they would take their sweet time and try to assemble a cast of old school favorites as well. As over the top dramatic as they are, the additions of people like Veronica and Tonya is pretty much the only bright spot of this challenge for me.

Re: Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins

Syrus going home. Oh like that was a big surprise. I am surprised that Derrick and Syrus didn't vote Johnny in. Really what was stopping them. Ah, Veronica another non surprise going home.

Go Cohutta, go. He has such a great attitude.

I certainly hope the previews hold true and Johnny and Casey are the next to go.

The only time I was surprised with a female was Gauntlet II where Sarah had shed 35lbs since her Road Rules appearance and seemed to be attempting more cardio and actually did well in the challenges. I just don't get why some of these females don't train for these challenges as it does translate into money for them. Greed isn't a big enough motivator? Although, having Kimberly try to toss heavy fruit over a wall was stupid. Upper body strength needed not Kimberly's stick arms. That was a poor strategic move. Gosh, Brad and Dunbar that was dumb. Oh, wait you are dumb. SNAFU.

Re: Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins

oh that was an upsetting loss Syrus did so well in the begining and to lose it just like that sucked! The old skoolers get stressed to easily... but i can see why with the jek trio plotting thier little schemes against them... Don't get me wrong i like Cohutta he's just a good ole boy he reminds me a lil of Ace, Georgia seems to have some good ole country guyz there... back to subject i wish Cohutta would have went against Kenny and beat him and i wish Veronica was to have gone against Kimberly and won that way her and Syrus could get together and put an old skool ass whooping on Johnny and Evan, Johanna and really basically screw them over just enough to get it down to them Syrus and Veronica (derrick darrell and susie) cos they are old skool haven't like their ways lately, but love my old skoolers have them to win and show these young punks like the jek trio how its realy done would be bitter sweet!!! Maybe next time...Ace Meddallion is right get the old skool players my list of choice..... Landon,Abrahm,Alton,Ace,Theo,M ark,Tim,Syrus,C.T.,Brad just so he has a chance at finally winning the Miz would be sweet too.... against of course the JEK trio and just string them along Wes if this last one didn't humble him,Dunbar,Frank,Danny, and Eric just to get on the Jek trio nerves that they would have to double their work.......Maybe one day if not then it seems it'll just get worse and ratings will drop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't think the Miz is coming back any time soon. He got his dream job wrestling and it looks like he is doing well.

You took the words right out of my mouth. It's amazing for me to see him sometimes because I rememeber watching the Miz on his season of RW and he used to carry around that fake wrestling belt and look at him now getting to do what he always dreamed of.

I also wished Derrick would have voted to put Johnny in. Johnny is a punk, Syrus went in already and won one. They should have voted Bananas into the ruins.

I don't understand why they didn't do that. It was so frustrating to see no one oppose Johnny Bananas.

Re: Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Ruins

Glad to see the challengers even the team sizes (7 vs 7). And I'm thinking the Champs might not be that strong anymore.

Johnny is an absolute coward. How or why anyone follows him or forms an alliance with him makes zero sense to me.

And I don't understand how Kenny, Evan and Johhny get away with what they do. Why don't the "outsiders" form an alliance. Why didnt Syrus or Wes or someone round up the others and say "Hey, have you guys seen the previous RW/RR challenges? Those guys are back-stabbing schemers who can't be trusted and will throw you under the bus. Lets US form an alliance and work together."

I never understood that either. Why didn't Syrus, Derrell, Derrek and Wes go against Evan and company? They would have had the votes every single time to send them in to the Ruins. If they think they are so great, let them prove it.

I've been asking myself this same question over the past 4 seasons...I used to think "wow, these people are just so stupid they haven't figured it out"..but after 2+ years of this crap I'm beginning to think that there must be something going on, cause all these people cant be that dumb (theyve rotated through like 40 different people and not ONE person has gone "hmm..?"). Hate to sound all conspiracy theory but its all I've got left: the producers or someone must be manipulating the game somehow, by paying them to act or do something specific for more drama...or something.

It just doesnt make ANY sense otherwise, right?!! Why would any of these people just hope to be the one person that Kenny & Co. (johnny, evan, johanna) choose to take to the finals (why just hope for them to pick you, why not try something else?).

I just dont have any other explanation...I know these people arent rocket scientists but they seem to be able to dress themselves and perform other daily functions...something "fishy" must be going on!
