I agree about the sob stories ... I wish they'd leave them out altogether.

This past week, I enjoyed that they kept the sob stories down to a minimum. Let the talent speak for itself or not. My shock was the 62 yr old dancer-wow! my joy was the country singer-he reminded me of Keith Whitley.
Plus, a lot of the lead-in stories - you can TELL what's coming. If the contestant is full of him/herself, then they'll be rotten. If they seem kinda quiet and humble, they have HUGE talent. And, the very last contestant will be GREAT.
It's still my favorite guilty pleasure.

Piers judges Britain's Got Talent, along with Simon Cowell and a girl (don't know who). Simon can't do it since it would conflict with his contract with FOX, so my guess is they have someone from the original British series onboard just because. Singer Brandy judged the first season but I don't know what happened there, or why they brought Sharon on instead of someone else.Originally Posted by maude~flanders;3529176;
Didn't her auto accident happen about that time? I think she was too nice, myself-we have a decent mix of good and goofy.
I usually love Nick, but he gets on my nerves on this show.

Was that Frenchie from ROL and ILM2 in the opening credits for the show tonight? She was wearing some black lace thing.
The guy who sang the country music with his guitar, last time, gave me the chills! I am not a real country music fan. He did a beautiful job.![]()
