I can't help thinking they are going to bring Acrodunk back down the road.

Agreed! As soon as Sharon said that she would not make that choice I told my DH that both would stay.

I'm not disappointed by who made it through entirely, though Acrodunk, Paradiso, and Fab Five should have. Maybe the latter two aren't Vegas material or are too much like what they have in Vegas, but Acrodunk was robbed big time. I didn't care for Arcadian and think that singer should have gotten through over him when it came down to the 2 of them in the quarter finals. Voices of Glory will probably advance on their story more than their singing, but I can't say they're spectacular. I know they're young, but you'd think they were the next Aretha and Luther with the hype they get.

I would like to have seen Acrodunk and Paradiso get through.

I agreed with the judges about Paradiso. They were really great before their most recent performance, but they pretty much wrecked their chances with the act they presented last week. It just wasn't as good. Regarding Acrodunk, I can't understand how or why they were voted off. They clearly had a fantastic act, perfect for Vegas, very exciting and unusual ... they were all extremely talented and skilled at what they do. The dive through the ring of fire was just amazing. Wish there was a way for the judges to bring them back. I really thought they'd make it to the finals.

Drunk Hasseldork is always funnier than the Sober version. I'm SURE we had the drunk version tonight.

Poor Erik. He might be too young to get butt kickings at school the way Arcadian Broad no doubt does, but being referred to as "Erika" over and over and over and over by some rambling old drunk? Can't help his lil' barely formed version of self-esteem.

Overall tonight was far lamer than expected. Other than Barbara Padilla and to a lesser extent, Recycled Percussion, I'm not even sure why most of them bothered to even show up. I guess for those two (no! now three... like that wasn't planned all along... right?) other spots--which will obviously go to the LEAST lame people and/or the ones who got the biggest amount of fan pity or "oh they're so cute/touching/'real'/whatever" votes.

The EriAms were particularly bad. Why are those girls even still there? Does the "cute" factor carry THAT much weight? Although to be fair to them, Drew Stevens stank up the joint too.

Oh. Raise your virtual hands if you think "producer interference" once again raised its ugly head in the selection of performances by lil' Erika and Ricky and FootworKing? You know... the ones that Piers and the judges dissed these people on...

Me, three. Mismatched pairs usually choose jive or cha cha when given a choice of performance. Tango to inappropriate for the dance and ages of the performers music, not so much.

    I LOVED B Padillo-she gave me chillbumps!

I think a lot of the unfortunate "mistakes" are due to the producers stirring the pot. A shame! Last week's show was a lot better than this-a damn shame that it wasn't more evenly matched up as far as talent went. We should be able to chose for them. I wonder if the producers had in mind who'd they'd like to win this thing and weighted the decision by choosing the order in which they performed.
