Re: Chopped - The Food Network
Not sure if the episode I saw last night was new or not. I hadn't seen it before, so it was "new" to me.
The British woman with the spiky blonde hair was ANNOYING from about 3 minutes in.
Loved the big Korean guy from the moment he said "I am a fat kid who loves to eat". The comment about his fingers being like "snickers bars" sealed the deal. Although my own fingers are more like tootsie rolls, I know the feeling!
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
According to my guide it was a new episode. When the judge said he would have to tell her to be quiet in his kitchen, I would have smacked her upside the head. She thought this was a game. When she was told this is a serious competition for $10,000 I think she went into shock. I also like the Korean guy.
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
I understand ego's but last night Chef Chris needed to be chopped from the beginning. I was glad to see his cocky attitude shut down in the end.

I agree, he was awful!
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
Chef Chris had that horrible attitude from the 1st show he was on - you would have thought he would have learned considering he was Chopped previsouly. Some people's heads are to big and thick to let it sink in tho - he was an A$$!!!
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
I did like the comment from the Chef that won, when they were going to the final dessert round and he wanted to hug her and she looked him dead in the eye and said don't touch me. I thought th judges would fall off their chairs. Then when she won, she had to gloat. I would have been so in his face jumping up and down.
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
He reminded me of the oh-so-annoying know-it-all wine guy who was on Top Chef several seasons ago (Steven or Stephen).
Glad he didn't win.

Chris is the Most. Annoying. Person. Ever. The one good thing I can say about his performance this time is that at least he didn't taste the food off the spoon and put the spoon right back into the pan (as he did multiple times on his first appearance).
Re: Chopped - The Food Network
One of the less exciting shows last night.
Do the judges enjoy putting themselves at risk for salmonella?
Who can REALLY be expected to prepare & FULLY cook chicken wings in 20 minutes? They are setting these people up to fail. Not cool.
