Re: Chopped - The Food Network

i watched the 2nd ep of the teen tournament

i felt bad for that girl who got cut the first round, i suspect she really melted down after getting chopped and that reaction she had was the best of the worst and they edited most of it out

she was like 13 i believe and she obviously had some kind of mental disability...

that was just hard to watch

i thought the tall shy girl was awkward but adorable

i'm glad alot of these awkward kids found something they like and are good at

The competition was not something the first girl chopped should have been in. Her parents should have realized what type of break down she would have.

I agree i felt really bad for her. It was hard for me not to get emotional myself. Im hoping a female pulls a win over the next two weeks

Those kids last night were outstanding. I think the first one who got chopped might have been thrown off his game cutting himself. They were (and have been all) so good.

I have to say the finale left me a bit tearful regarding the winner. Wow!

i notice they had the "in loving memory" message at the end of the recent 10 yr old chopped

the winner Lilly's dad died just 3 days after they taped the show

sad, he had fell from a ladder and has been in the hospital for a while with head/brain injuries

How tragic. I saw a glimpse, but did not read what it said.
