| Re: Jon & Kate Plus Eight Just a random thought Are the "freebies" they are getting worth the damage now and in the future they are doing to their children? I think not but evidently K/J think yes. IMO Mady is already showing the effects of it. Also, some of the younger ones are awfully whiny cranky etc...alot of the time. I admit I don't watch with any regularity. So it could be I am just catching the meltdown times. Yes I know that [u]ALL[u] kids do that at times...I do have some of my own. It just appears to me that what they all need is more attention from one or both of their parents(which before you crucify me-I know is hard to do when you have that many). |

They blurred out the label on the juice boxes the kids were drinking on the bus on the way to Charm City Cakes. The Allstate "shoutout" from Jon, with another lingering close up of their website was also very ham-fisted. Had they not been sponsoring in some form or another he'd have just said "my insurance agent". Kate was at the height of her bitchiness during the Going Green episode. So rude.

| Re: Jon & Kate Plus Eight I saw the Emeril 100th episode last night and had to comment. Yesterday morning there was an episode where the tups had their well child checkups. One of the girls hit a boy in the stomach and Kate said "We dont hit!!" but yet she is always smacking on Jon and now on Emeril!!  She is setting a good example for the kids....not!! I noticed on next weeks episode the white plastic throne is back.

| Re: Jon & Kate Plus Eight I read that somewhere as well - but I read it back when that episode was originally aired (waaay too long ago for my brain to remember exactly where )I also remember her "charitable donations" for the kids at St. Jude were also comped. Her books were donated by Zondervan (the publisher) and the "gifts" she purchased at K-Mart were shown to be purchased by her, but K-mart had donated those as well. It's so obvious that this marriage is over and that nobody is really paying any attention to the needs of those 8 kids, imo. The damage is done to the kids and the media is ALL over Jon and Kate, I can't believe how much air time has been devoted to them on shows like the Today show. It's insane. On the other hand maybe this bubble will bust soon because the media and people will get sick of it. The contract will end and the show will fizzle out. |

They ran a story about a little kid who was so excited after seeing Kate, I don't know where they were but the kid asked Kate for her autograph, pen and paper in hand, and Kate denied him, saying she didn't have time. He ran back over and tried again but once again was denied. YEP, that's OUR Kate! A real lover of kid's that woman is......NOT! How long does it take to scribble, even if it's just a mark, on a piece of paper, folks?

Kara said, "Those 8 little kids did not say, Mommy I want to be on a reality show" or something along those lines and then said, "Those kids should not be on that show." Are Reality Kids Exploited? They aren't content with having them still wear bibs and drink from sippy cups, they've actually put the training wheels back on the bike of the one child who could ride without them. They didn't seem to have a problem with them riding around on tarmac with helmets on either.
