I would think it would be how not to abuse your husband. If any man treated a woman like she treats him there would be pure outrage at the network with women screaming abuse. But when a woman does it to a man it's marginally acceptable.

Because that is what society apparently dictates. You notice no one is out there viciously protesting the show based on the treatment of him. I don't believe it is right for either gender to abuse the other gender. I think it is equally wrong. As a feminist I'm disgusted by how she treats him. I don't agree with societies apparent view that how she behaves is ok, even marginally.

You know as well as I do if he talked to her like she talks to him this show would have been pulled off the air so fast it would have made heads spin but because she is a woman doing it somehow that makes it all better and it stayed on the air.

I get what you're saying and it would totally ring true if he were Caucasian but he is actually Asian. Japanese isn't he?

About those staples......I had surgery and had a scar up the entire side of my head...Dr took the staples out as I put my head on my husbands lap...NO PAIN.....NO PAIN.....I felt nothing and was not given drugs beforehand....he just did it easily and I felt the manipulation, but NO PAIN....Poor John, he was screeching and screaming...she was just yanking and pulling like it was a piece of wire being removed from a board.....I needed to slap her that day.

I've had many reconstructive surgeries on my face and 2 of them involved bone grafts where they removed marrow from both of my hips and later a skin graft which came from the scar tissue from my hip and let me tell you, removing the stitches hurt like H*** every time. The worst was when they removed the stitches from my nose. **shudders** That was painful for me when the doctor was being gentle. I didn't watch that episode but I don't doubt that she was rough with him.

Jon even made the comment that he tought she was being rough just becasue she could!

But then again I can see Jon being a baby about things, too.
