I have to lend credit to the hand full of die hard fans left that are grasping at straws in order to deflect from the truth.
I am curious if the women at the Christian Mom forum are only defending Kate because she claims to be a Christian. Kate claims that TLC insisted on editing anything in regards to their faith on the show, next thing you know the posters at CM forum will say that Jon forced her not to mention about their faith while she was being interviewed on the Today Show, Larry King, Rachael Ray and People magazine. Or are the posters at the CM forum saying that any mention of Kate's faith was edited out of the interviews as well?

I know I read somewhere that the church the Gosselins used to go to kicked them out due to all their outlandish behavior! So if they are no longer active in their church, how can their "pastor" counsel her? And do you really, truly think that Kate wants to be counseled? IMO she doesn't. She, in her mind, is not the problem! It's all Jon, all the time!

If she truly did want to try to save this marriage, why did they not at least give marriage counseling a try? Remember, all this news erupted in the rags, and on TV, just within the last two months or so. She went from telling all the tv shows how they would work this out in private, yet runs over to People and lands on the cover stating, "We might split up" and proceeds to throw Jon under one bus after another. That was only about a month ago. Since then, she files for divorce! Oh yeah, because Jon told her too! Um, when did she ever do anything that Jon told her to do? (Remember how he didn't want to do the show anymore? Why didn't she listen to him then? Oh, that's right.....the show must go on!)

As far as the book-signing tour bit, she didn't seem all that willing to put a stop to them when all this stuff hit the fan just a few short weeks ago. She actually wanted MORE book tours added to her itinerary. And she wasted no time going on all those tv shows....LKL, RR, Today....anyone who would have her. Why didn't she hop on the first plane and fly home and keep a low profile and devote her precious time on the problems at home?

Kate's world is imploding quickly. The viewership tanked this past Monday from last week's megahit. I really think people are getting tired of all of their drama. TLC will lose a lot of viewers.

Now that Zondervan pulled out of the cookbook deal, she will not be out pimping that book this fall. It will be interesting to see if she is even able to get any kind of speaking engagements in churches now that everyone sees what a fraud she is.

Let's see how well she does being an actual stay-at-home mom! Isn't that what she wanted all along?

I would tell those moms in that Christian Moms forum to pray for those innocent children. They need all the prayers they can get! I also have to wonder how many of those Christian Moms think the best thing Kate could do right now is to pull the plug on the show, let them work out their marital problems/divorce issues in private, get the kids into therapy, and let them lead normal lives away from the camera.

Why do these women even defend Kate? I have heard she has been less than friendly to her fans at the speaking engagements and book signings. What is it about Kate that these woman are so enamored with? I don't get it!

I don't get it either, Luvsginger. She is not a wonderful mother. She is not a wonderful Christian. She is not a wonderful wife. So gee let's see.....just what is she?

Oh yeah she is a witch with a capital B! A narcissist. Always right. Never home unless the cameras are on.

Somewhere (it might have been that RR clip on that site) I was reading the comments. Someone said she was a genius!

As long as there is an audience she will be whatever they want her to be. Strutting around in a bikini while in NC was a calculated move on her part to be front and center in any J&K discussion. She never wore a bikini when she vacationed with her family in the past...Why now unless you're courting the media. Then she goes to People magazine, poses for them and gives them intimate details of her children's lives while at the same time ensuring that anyone who reads it knows what a burden she is bearing. In the last interview she made a statement about how she was glad the kids could have Jon at the house even thou it meant she had to "leave and wander the country alone" .

As long as there is an audience....She'll play the part.

Because she has a lot of children...to some women, those with children are much more superior to the rest of us...

Kate was seen "lunching" and drinking martinis at a restaurant 4 miles away from her bodyguard Steve's home. I could never drink martinis at lunch but that's just me! It was reported that Kate liked her alcoholic beverages pool side while in NC, and they say Jon is the one with the drinking problem?

Okay, I started watching this show because the kids were so cute. AFter a while, I started noticing how selfish and mean Kate was. Jon did all the work in the morning, even to take queenie Irene her coffee with directions on "how to make Kate's coffee"

He bathed each kid at night...Kate did NOT ever bathe the kids Jon did all the work

Hubby watched it a couple of times and said if I EVER treated him the way she did, he would leave me in a heartbeat

said she was a biotch and felt sorry for the kids

after a while, I stopped watching because it was just too sad

A former neighbor of Jon&Kate ,who has had his own books published by Zondervan the Christian publishing house, isn't as enamored of Kate as the moms in that forum.

I am with you. I remember the first "Surviving Sextuplets and Twins" special from April or May of 2007. Kate had an "Aw shucks can you believe this has happened?" quality to her and to the whole show. Jon was working full time, Kate was working weekends as a dialysis nurse and they seemed okay.

The note on how to prepare her coffee was, at the time, kind of funny. Now it is not so funny. All the notes everywhere! And Kate just seemed to make things harder for herself by being so demanding of herself and those around her by insisting on matching clothes and such an allegedly clean house. If one kid stains his shirt do all the boys have to change their shirts? Well no wonder you are drowning in laundry, Kate! Or your helper is drowning in laundry.

I agree that she was very calculated in NC with the photographers. Kate can wear a bikini, a tankini, a burlap sack...I don't care. What bothers me is the press is all "She has had EIGHT KIDS! and look at her body." No she has been pregnant TWICE and had a free tummy tuck. And she is still in her mid-thirties so why we are all surprised that she looks good? Heidi Klum has had three babies (soon to be a fourth) and no plastic surgery and she certainly has a nice body.
