Here's the latest on the cookbook.....

Jon & Kate Stop the Presses for Kids' Sake - E! Online

"Presumably figuring the whole happy-family-round-the-table concept wouldn't be as believable anymore, publisher Zondervan has indefinitely postponed the release of Kate Gosselin's upcoming cookbook, to have been titled, Love Is in the Mix: Making Meals Into Memories.

The recipe collection was originally due out sometime in November. Zondervan also published Kate's other books, Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving With Twins and Sextuplets and Eight Little Faces."

Finally, someone has done the right thing. The whole premise was destroyed when the divorce was announced. I couldn't imagine any way Zondervan could spin the marketing for this "crookbook" and not look like total fools, desperately trying to make a dime from the destruction of a family.

I just watched a segment on the Early Show this morning and the Crooked Houses that were on the Jon and Kate show were featured. Apparently, the Crooked Houses are flying off the shelves so to speak ever since they were shown on J and K. The cost is $2500 for one of the bigger ones and the Gosselins were given 4 of them. Who has that kind of money to spend on a playhouse for their kids?

The Crooked Dog house is only $500!

About damn time someone stopped Kate Gosselin's train(wreck) to fame and fortune. I can only imagine (and smile) at how angry and frustrated this must make Kate.

Please tell me that "rescheduled" means killed. Can anyone honestly want to read her cookbook touting "family" after this train wreck?
The best thing would be for all the Gosselin stuff to die down and let the family heal as best they can.
Kate was once a nurse and Jon was once an IT specialist. Those jobs wouldn't support a $1.3 million mansion nor an apartment at the Trump property but how many people live like that?
There are plenty of (even large) families who's parents go to work, sometimes with opposite schedules if daycare is an issue, and care for their children themselves without depending on a network or sponsors to help them out.

I hope this doesn't mean that Zondervan and Kate are just going to "regroup" and turn the cookbook into some sort of book about cooking meals while suffering as a single mom! Ugh!

Well personally I use Chinet, not paper
