    Re: The Little Couple

I really love this family. It's so good that Will has this couple for parents. He certainly has speech delays, but I hope it can be addressed effectively. I know that he is in therapy, but it seems as if has not progressed much, if any, since last season, although, he's a year older.

My niece is also four years old and has speech delays. Her progress is slow too. She's been in therapy since she was a baby, but still has trouble with sentences and finds many words challenging. I like to think that things will improve substantially at some point, but it's very concerning.

I can understand Bill and Jen being concerned. They probably do not share that part and I understand. What concerns me the most is Will's food obsession. I fear that is going to be a huge problem as he gets older. I understand about him coming from an orphanage and all that, but his food obsession seems to be greater than that. I pray it's not as severe as I fear.

    Re: The Little Couple

My youngest had speech delays. Having already had a child, I knew when and about the time MP should start talking.

Well he was almost 2yo before he said anything more than Momma and Dada. He did allot of pointing and mumbling.

By 3yo he was talking up a storm BUT no one could understand his gibberish except his older (5yo) bro who was interpretting everything MP said. UGH.

By 4yo we had him to a speech specialist which he went to through almost age 6yo.

One on one with the Specialist was AMAZING. AMAZING.

I was involved in so many Mom play groups and I KNEW through those groups that MP was delayed.

By 6yo he was DONE and speaking wonderfully and clearly and DH & I were thrilled!!!

(Today he is 27yo an Attorney in WASH DC and works on Captiol Hill)

I did realize during one show that Will was seeing a Speech Specialist but Will does not seem to be advancing much from those lessons.

Also, when this season started it appeared that Zoey and Will were both sitting at their big kitchen table. Now the last 4 or 5 epi's, they have been in highchairs. Hmm. I wonder why?

I think the use the dinner table for the family dinner and the high chairs for snacks and lunches.

Good point because most of those scenes appeared to be breakfast or lunch or snacks.

AND I bet it was so easy for Bill to have them in the highchairs for the coloring of the eggs.

Thanks for that uplifting story Momrek. I worry so over my little niece. She has Tuberous Sclerosis and we're not sure how much damage she has due to the brain tumor. She's on super strong meds to keep the seizures at bay, but still, she's being impacted.

I hate to be critical, but why would you have a beverage to drink in a cup, sitting next to paint that looks pretty similar? Plus they are in a place they normally eat and drink. I didn't think that was a good idea.

I was so happy to see Chloe Dao (Project Runway winner) as the designer for Jen's clothes. How neat that her shop is just down the street from the pet store.

Nice episode...can't wait for the renewal of vows next week.

Loved it when Bill said that Jen, who is 6 months older than him, is what is known as a "Cougar".
Also, so sweet when Zooey was kissing his arm when she and Bill went out to lunch together.

I laughed several times last night.... the cougar line and I liked her reaction to the butt donut "I don't need that". After such serious episodes, it was nice to have a laugh.

Zoey was so cute with Bill. She has warmed up to her Baba!

And what a romantic ending... can't wait til next week. Bill is such a gem!

Zoey is so sweet. It's difficult to imagine that the orphanage she was in said she was temperamental. I guess she might have been then, but now, she's so mellow. She's such a little sweetheart.

I think she probably is still somewhat "opinionated", but in a good way. And now she is surrounded by love.
