Thanks for the celebrity spotting report. They seem to be the nicest people. I am touched in every episode with how much they seem to care about each other.

This week she had a designer make her a gown. She looked great. Can you imagine having to find clothes at her size?

This is my question. When the baby arrives, how is Jenn going to get the baby in and out of the car seat and transport the baby to and from the car. Assuming she has a stroller, how will she get it in and out of the car and I think she is too short to be able to push one. Just curious. Any ideas? I wonder if she will have to have an assistant with her whenever she is tranporting the baby.

Good questions, I have no answers. I think how I use to complain, as two of my girls are less than a year apart, double stroller, diaper bags, car seats, etc, and to think now, I had no problems at all. Makes you grateful.

Wow, ya, and its not even like they could have anything custom made for the baby esp if the baby is average size.
Well Matt and Amy did it with FOUR kiddos of which 3 were average size.
AND with no family around as I believe Jenn's mom lives in FLA. Although, I bet she will visit once the babe arrives. But still they will need help. Jenn is much smaller than Amy.

Momrek, you're right. Jenn is much smaller than Amy Roloff. Also, I think when the kids were little, Amy didn't work, so there wasn't as much getting in and out of the car. Jenn is a physician, so she would be going out most every day. I guess with Bill being self-employed, he could transport the baby when necessary. I predict they will have a nanny who comes to them to avoid the transport problem.

YIKES, their house is coming along nicely and it is HUGE!!!

Another great epi this week. Bill went to New Orleans for his bro's bachelor party and they all had a blast.

Jenn and Bill picked out tile for their new home. We built our Boston home in 2005 ... so darn overwhelming ... would NOT want to do that again ... making all those darn decisions on every little detail. She seemed overwhelmed and did not help that Bill thought that Jenn was making too much of her decisions. YEAH, Jenn, take as long as you want. Be happy.

I saw part of the show. I also heard Bill tell someone who was working on the house that they would have a live-in nanny after the baby comes! That sounds nice.

It's such a pleasant show to watch. It's so relaxing. I just love to feel good about a reality and this one does the trick.

I am also staggered by the SIZE of that house. I wonder why they didn't make it a single story and not have to worry about putting in an elevator? Maybe they don't have enough land.

Being a medical specialist and a business owner must pay very, very well.

Yes, I bet it does. She has quite a unique position at Texas Children's Hospital. I doubt she had to pay back student loans for college or med school, because I think it's likely she got full scholarship due to her condition.

I don't know exactly what Bill does, but it looks like he does pretty well. They did buy a house and then tear it down. LOL I'm sure the show pays pretty well. Maybe they don't make what Kate Gosselin does, but it's icing on the cake for them. Don't forget the high cost of the surrogacy.

I can't wait to see that baby! Did they say there was a way they could inspect the embryoes and only implant those that were NOT dwarfs into the surrogate? I lost track of that. The reason I ask is that last week I saw a documentary on TLC about a couple who had a baby so they could get the baby's cord blood for a transplant into their older child who had a terminal disorder. They pulled cells out of the eggs or embryoes in the lab and then selected those that matched the sick older sibling to implant into the mother. Nine months later the sibling was born. They took his cord blood and saved the older brother's life with it. Very amazing.

I recall Bill kept saying that the only reason they did not want their child to be a dwarf was because of all the physical ailments you have that cause pain, disablility and require numerous surgeries.

They don't care if their baby is a dwarf. They only care if the baby has double dominant dwarfism. Meanng the baby would carry both their different forms of dwarfism genes. This condition is genreally fatal for the child and their life expectancy is short. It's something that would also be a concern for the host mother. So, they are going to do genetic testing on their embryos so they don't implant a embryo that has that double dominancy. They are not against implanting an embryo that has one of their forms of dwarfism.

I agree that a live-in nanny makes perfect sense for Jen and Bill because she works extensive hours at the hospital and Bill's work involves a lot of travel.

I have to comment though, that the personalities of these reality celebrities have a lot to do with our reaction to what they choose to do. I just finished reading 2 or 3 pages of very emotional postings (both pro and con), regarding Bethenny -- who was being raked over the coals for hiring a baby nurse temporarily, for a few weeks or a month after delivering a new baby (a tiny 4 lb premature baby who was delivered 5 weeks early, by C-section) -- Bethenny also works very long, hard hours and apparently Jason's work takes him away often, as well. But if they decided to have a live-in nanny, posters would probably go crazy!
