| I Survived a Japanese Game Show I notice the original topic for this is gone now, because of the re-org of the "Other TV" section. I thought it worth creating a new one because of this news: ABC falls for 'Game Show' - Entertainment News, TV News, Media - Variety Quote:

| Re: I Survived a Japanese Game Show Any chance of this being a covered show this season? It was an unexpected gem last year (although to be frank, I don't think many people here discovered it). On the surface the show is very silly and worthless seeming. But underneath, I often found it to be quite touching, and it also contained a LOT of real worthwhile cultural information about Japan. In between silly (but lets be honest... funny) stuff in the studio, like making them dress in diapers and do various "baby stunts", or put on velcro suits and launch themselves at a target, the show would tour these people around some really interesting parts of Japan and Japanese culture. Hopefully Season 2 will remember that and keep that stuff in.

| Re: I Survived a Japanese Game Show I'm recording it so I can watch with the kids over the weekend. We loved watching Ninja Warrior & Unbeatable Banzuke together on G4 & we've been looking forward to this show coming back. |

| Re: I Survived a Japanese Game Show Well the first one out is the one you hated - that's unusual! She gave the old, "I didn't come here to make friends" line, and she didn't. She didn't make friends, she got stuck cleaning a subway, and was the first one out! Haha! |

| Re: I Survived a Japanese Game Show I'm so bummed this morning that I didn't notice last night that it was premiering. I found last season's show to be so much fun. I love the host. Hope I can find last night's episode online somewhere. |
