| I Survived a Japanese Game Show I notice the original topic for this is gone now, because of the re-org of the "Other TV" section.
I thought it worth creating a new one because of this news: ABC falls for 'Game Show' - Entertainment News, TV News, Media - Variety Quote:

ABC is up for a second round of "I Survived a Japanese Game Show."
Alphabet has ordered 10 more segs of the stunt-oriented reality skein from A. Smith and Co. It’s targeted for a summer run. "Game Show" bowed on the net this past summer to decent ratings, though it was eclipsed by the strong perf of its skedmate "Wipeout."
Gamer takes contestants from the U.S. to Japan to tackle a series of goofy challenges in pursuit of a $250,000 grand prize.
"Game Show" is exec produced by A. Smith’s Arthur Smith, Kent Weed and Andrew Scheer. Shingle’s growing portfolio of nonscripted skeins includes Fox’s "Kitchen Nightmares," TLC’s "Trading Spaces" and the Jesse Ventura-hosted project in the works at TruTV.
