That's why I like the show, its about family. The girls were cute shopping!

Oh, you know what I forgot to mention. Notice how the Duggar's were at the Bate's home while Josh and Anna were at the Today show? I am really beginning to wonder if there will be a Duggar/Bates engagement soon......
I honestly think that one of the older girls could get engaged to one of the Bates older boys, or John David could get engaged to one of the older girls in that family. I think though it was just a case of the two families meeting up, as they are fairly close and we've seen them at least a half-dozen times on the show.

Okay tonight's episode was sweet-it proves that Jim Bob is definitely a great dad, between being invested in the lives of not only his daughters, but being a second dad to the girls who lost the fathers in their lives, either through divorce or death.

I also thought that was really nice.Originally Posted by Trista;3551289;

Now, there is a loving, caring father. A pat on the back to Jim Bob.
Agreed. I have really enjoyed the last couple of episodes. This show has become a real contrast to the other family who's name I will not speak.Originally Posted by swissmiss150;3552551;
While I disagree with Jim Bob on the politics and some of the values, I do think that a lot of dads could learn from his example.

Joy-Anna was fun. I could see her possibly breaking "the mold" if Jinger doesn't.
And how confusing must that be? Joy-Anna... Johanna. There are still many 'J' girl names. Judith, Julia, Jorgia, Janice, Janet. Wonder if they consider the possible confusion on down the line.
I have heard them call her Joy.Originally Posted by hutchlover;3553238;
